If your pitcher is not calling the game, the coach has all ready failed!

Pitching is hard. I would think they would appreciate a catcher to assist. There are things a catcher can see that a pitcher can’t. For all time, the Berra’s, the Bench’s and the Molina’s have been afforded that right. Shake if you must.

The best conversation starter is IN GAME FAILURE!!! Many coaches simply take over (SHORT GAME) instead of jump at the opportunity for learning (LONG GAME)

A few questions- Whos playing the game? Catcher or Coach. Has the game and pitching improved with coaches calling games? How does a catcher develop when hes not running the show? When did coaches takeaway the opportunity for catchers to call games?
