From Fields to Futures: How Maharashtra Is Transforming Agriculture with AI Delighted to inaugurate a global conference ‘AI4 Agri 2026’, a satellite event of AI Impact Summit, advancing agriculture through data and innovation while strengthening Maharashtra’s leadership in shaping India’s agricultural future. Maharashtra has opened a defining chapter in agricultural history, reimagining and redefining the use of Artificial Intelligence for public purpose, while positioning India at the forefront of global Agri-innovation. Guided by the visionary leadership of our Hon PM Narendra Modi Ji's India AI Mission, advanced technology is being harnessed to deliver inclusiveness, transparency, and measurable growth. Maharashtra is not merely adopting AI in agriculture; it is leading a structural transformation. With a clear commitment to ensuring technology reaches every farmer, Maharashtra has become the 1st state to introduce a comprehensive AI policy for agriculture and to establish the MahaKrishi AI and Agri-Tech Innovation Centre. Through MahaVISTAAR-AI, farmers receive personalised advisories on weather patterns, pest intelligence, and seamless access to government schemes. In a landmark step toward inclusivity, the Bhili tribal language has been integrated into the platform, ensuring that tribal farmers receive guidance in their own language, making technology truly accessible. Standing at the intersection of technology, demography, and public purpose, Maharashtra is demonstrating how AI can be deployed with inclusivity, transparency, and farmer welfare at its core, shaping a global model for responsible and transformative agricultural innovation. 🚨🇮🇳 Drone threat? Meet India’s layered kill chain India is building a layered, multi-domain counter-drone ecosystem—blending indigenous innovation, strategic acquisitions, and tri-service integration to stay ahead in the evolving drone era. From micro-drone neutralization to large-area airspace defense, a new generation of homegrown anti-drone systems is taking shape: 1️⃣ D4: Designed to detect and neutralize micro and small UAVs within a 1–1.25 km range, delivering 360° coverage in both static and vehicle-mounted configurations. Developed by Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO), produced by Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL). 2️⃣ Bhargavastra: Low-cost, AI-enabled hard-kill system built to counter drone swarms, combining guided and unguided micro-missiles, radar detection up to 6 km, and a 2.5 km strike range, with the ability to launch up to 64 micro-missiles simultaneously. 3️⃣ C-UAS (Counter-Unmanned Aerial System): A multi-layer, multi-sensor platform developed by Zen Technologies, integrating radar, camera-based tracking, GPS jamming, and kinetic interception to detect, track, and neutralise enemy drones. 4️⃣ Indrajaal: AI-powered autonomous defense system provides wide-area protection of up to 4,000 sq. km, enabling real-time detection, identification, and neutralization of aerial threats across critical infrastructure, including mobile patrol units. 5️⃣ Dronaam: A compact, indigenous solution offers directional and omnidirectional coverage, deployable as a rifle-style system or portable backpack unit for rapid, tactical counter-drone response.

What if the AI boom is not just a technology race, but a capital machine hiding in plain sight? The deeper I look at this ecosystem, the less it feels like a messy market and the more it looks like a closed financial loop. That is what makes this so striking. → Big Tech funds AI labs and infrastructure → AI labs and cloud players buy chips, GPUs, and networking → Model companies license capabilities back to the same giants funding the buildout What looks complicated is, in many ways, brutally simple. A money machine. And right now, that machine is being priced as if demand, revenue, and adoption will keep compounding with very little friction. That is the part I find most fascinating. Because the numbers are not just big. They are staggering. → Microsoft has invested more than $13B into OpenAI since 2019 → Oracle signed a $300B data centre capacity deal tied to OpenAI through 2029 → Meta is racing from roughly 150,000 NVIDIA GPUs in 2023 to around 1.3 million by the end of 2025 → Broadcom’s AI chip revenue is projected to jump from $3.8B in 2023 to $40B by 2026 What really stands out to me is how concentrated this loop has become. NVIDIA gets paid by nearly everyone. Infrastructure providers benefit early. AI companies are still betting on future monetization. Maybe it works. But that is the real question. Are we looking at durable economics, or one of the most elegantly circular bets the tech world has ever built? Do you think this AI capital loop is sustainable, or are we watching a beautifully engineered cycle that still has to prove itself? #AI #ArtificialIntelligence #OpenAI #NVIDIA #Microsoft #Infrastructure #DataCenters #Investing #BusinessStrategy #Innovation
