2/ @PhillyPolice say “the Uber driver was treated for non-life threatening injuries.” @uber “We’re incredibly saddened by this horrible crash & are keeping those involved in our thoughts. We’re continuing to look into this & are standing by to assist in the investigation.

"When Frank Stein grew concerned for his elderly neighbor's safety, he called the police. But nothing prepared him for what was hidden behind her garage door.":

Sadly, there are large trucks parked all throughout the city in residential neighborhoods .I’ve called @PhillyPolice many times about a large truck parked at the end of my street that prevents you from seeing oncoming traffic and no one has done anything about it.

You look through the city and see those large trucks parked illegally everywhere. When you call @philly311 @PhillyPolice they give you the run around and do nothing about it. I guess this unfortunate accident needs to happen more before someone cares to do something about it.

It's not just trucks. It's pick-up trucks with trailers attached, cars parked parallel to stop signs at all four points at the intersection. This city has abdicated the enforcement of traffic and parking rules outside of Center City, and this is the result of that policy. Death.

Awwww the dad talking brung tears to my eyes may Allah make her grave spacious full of light forgive her for her sins seen and unseen ameen

That's horrible.

@FeatStinky 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 So sad. My condolences for him and the family.

This is horrendous

It’s all over the city. Laws mean nothing. People park cars, large trucks, and whatever else on corners and block your view from turning or even just driving. The city would make a ton of money and save lives if they have truck enforcement out and parking enforcement…

I'm sorry this girl died, but I'm not sure how that's the fault of a *parked truck*, even if there was a sign for no parking there. Was she wearing a seat belt? If you can't see around a curve you should slow down. Why you can't show the security cam footage of the accident?
