Cam Newton’s altercation during his 7 on 7 invitational has evoked many different emotions across broad opinions. I have so many thoughts. Why wouldn’t a coach, young black person ask Cam Newton for advice on success? Shouldn’t you want to have information on how he excelled on the field... in order to pass that along to your young players. Also, we should applaud his willingness to give his time, money & energy to our communities. Instead, we use his presence to test ourselves against his accomplishments, & legacy. Beating Cam as a 7 on 7 coach won’t make you a Hall of Famer… but jumping him & getting your a$$ whipped does make us ALL a joke. I don’t think it’s a blackeye. it was a private altercation that got publicized on social media. I don’t overthink this RC, when you listen to the other side of the story, you understand that this was a bunch of normal trash talking gone wrong. it’s not about all the Theories being floated on social media, go listen to the interview with those two dudes and then you’ll get an idea of what time it was not what people are tweeting, and what people think just by viewing 12 seconds of footage
