Cam Schlittler should win MVP over Yordan Alvarez

Anything to support his Yankee friends I guess. MVP is not a pitcher award. When Verlander won it he threw over 250 innings and had a sub 1 whip. Schlittler is and has been incredible but he won’t even get to 200 innings in the regular season this year

Yordan Alvarez is so bad defensively that yesterday the Astros played 3 different other players in LF, all batting .200 because Yordan is such a liability on defense that this is the better option. His WAR is 4.5 if he played the field every day. He's not close to being an MVP.

Saying that Cam Schlittler had a better season than Misiorowski is flat out wrong Jake. Misiorowski leads in ERA,WHIP,Ks,K/9,BB/9, and to put the cherry on top he’s been credited with one less Loss.

I'm a huge Yankee fan, but Yordan should win MVP. Pitchers should only ever win if no one in the league has a standout offensive year. Yordan has a 190 OPS+! His season has been insane. Easy MVP. But Schlittler is probably the runner up.

I wouldn’t give it to Cam simply because he pitched against the weakest AL in decades. Yordan Alvarez was a lone bright spot amongst AL hitters.
