Are you a fan of Cameron Diaz? The Mask (1994), was Cameron Diaz’s very first acting role. She was a 21-year-old model with zero previous film or acting experience when she landed the part of the glamorous nightclub singer Tina Carlyle.

At 21, Cameron Diaz had never acted before landing The Mask (1994). Director Chuck Russell fought to cast her despite studio objections, and after 12 auditions she won the role just seven days before filming, only beginning acting lessons after she was already cast.
