First Wild Camp of 2025 - With New Friends I hiked out to Leather Tor, Peak Hill and Sheepstor for some Dartmoor fresh air, my first solo camp of the year. Fantastic to meet up with Richard and Sam who joined me for a yomp. Cold weather, a lost cup, and very unfamiliar faces on top of Dartmoor's most popular wild camping spot awaited.... Aviation Park in Lakewood has been taken over by drug-addicted vagrants. What was once a family-friendly space for kids to play and neighbors to walk is now filled with public drug use, syringes, human waste, trash, and safety concerns.
