Yes. It can reduce the spec work by ~95%, the programme management by 80%, the CAD drawings and manufacturing specifications by 90% and it can robotically produce the parts and assemble them by 60% - 80%. Every step of the process benefits greatly, ultimately costing less.

Rather than continually increasing the tax burden on productive workers and entrepreneurs, the government should focus on creating a simpler, fairer tax system that recognises the difference between genuine self-employment and disguised employment. The UK needs a tax system that rewards work, supports business growth, and remains internationally competitive. A thriving economy depends on people being willing to take risks, build businesses, and provide specialist expertise. Tax policy should encourage those ambitions, not discourage them. Beyond IR35, there is a wider issue of what taxpayers expect in return for the money they contribute. If I pay tax, I expect basic public services to function properly: roads without potholes, rubbish collected reliably, and local councils that actually listen when residents raise concerns. I also expect everyday essentials like food to remain affordable, rather than becoming increasingly expensive while wages struggle to keep up. There is also a growing debate around transport and environmental policy, including the taxation of electric vehicles. If the UK is serious about green policy and encouraging adoption of cleaner transport, then additional taxes on electric cars should be carefully reconsidered or revoked, rather than creating new barriers to uptake. The bus initiative that you rolled out in Manchester should be rolled out nationwide. On economic direction, the UK should also be looking at how other European economies operate. Countries such as Poland have developed strong manufacturing bases and export-driven industries, building and shipping goods and services at scale. The UK should take lessons from this approach and focus more on rebuilding domestic production, strengthening industry, and creating a more sustainable, balanced economy rather than relying heavily on consumption and an expanding welfare state. At the same time, there must be proper accountability for public spending. Significant concern has been raised about waste across successive governments. For example, investigative work such as the “Scandalous Spending Tracker” by Best for Britain highlights concerns that over £135 billion of public money may have been wasted during the Conservative years in power ( Whether or not every figure is agreed upon, the broader point remains: taxpayers deserve transparency, scrutiny, and consequences for poor financial management. Ultimately, the UK needs a reset in priorities—one that focuses on efficiency, accountability, economic productivity, and fairness. That means supporting independent workers, improving public services, investing in real economic output, and ensuring that every pound of taxpayer money is spent wisely and with clear public benefit.

I'm afraid I must disagree with part of this and it is extremely short sighted. Ai and Robotics will absolutely build trains. I agree we should be encouraging alternative education but this shows that Labour don't have a plan. We should be building AI and Robotic factories that would create jobs, but instead were prancing around on TikTok with energy prices that go against any advancements.
