can any procreate users tell me why the color picker doesnt pick the ACTUAL color from the canvas like wtf 😭😭😭

It's even WORSE when you're picking from a reference photo (cuz you can click that option in the settings). It makes shit GREYER and I was genuinely going crazy when trying to make art of Oomf's oc, who is dark skinned, because I felt like those people who make POC grey 👴🏻

upon further inspection it only happens on specific canvases.. at least its woke??? 💀

I don’t use procreate personally but did you check if there’s a transparent layer on top? It could be that. It could also be the brush or maybe the setting the coloring layer is in. It’s probably the brush though

I know you solved your problem already but beware of color picking references when using a cmyk color profile. Literally all the colors change

Procreate DOES have a real color bug for one of its features. If you use the color fill with the selection tool, the selection will be exactly one value point lower. I felt superhuman for seeing the difference
