Can anyone defend this map design? This is not isolated to this map either

worst map design in cod history + there are more things that makes the designing of mw19 so bad. fast ttk doors no red dots bad spawnsystem no ninja perk bad streak and perk system fly in animation after death and way more stuff that ruined the mp experience only snd was playable

I'm being so genuine... Isn't this exactly how Warzone is, though? So many different possibilities of where players could be, dark corners and random spots, since it's such a big and porous map? I never understood how people hated this map design while also enjoying Warzone (again, just being curious, people don't usually have these discussions). --- In terms of MP, I find myself bored with the simple Treyarch map design. It may be competitive, consistent, and predictable (all good things). But I find myself getting into the same 3, nearly identical engagements in those simpler maps. Either we're both in chest-high cover, or we're both out in the open, or one is in chest-high cover and the other is out in the open. I don't necessarily want those random dark corners to hide in, but I do really love the "textured" and imperfect lines of sight that IW (and SHG) tend to build. Not exactly on topic, especially with THAT map, but I hope I made sense?

This map was not very fun on any mode but was alright on SnD. I do like maps they added later down the line, like Khandor Hideout was really good. Post launch maps were definitely much better.

Outside of how fluid the game feels and the visual aesthetics, this game sucks in every other way.

people will swear up and down the maps are good now like it wasn't the worst part of mp back then. i think infinity ward tries too hard and they always overdesign their maps because of not only LE REALISM but to give people random places to hide in

Great map it’s built for flexibility , and your crying about camping not everyone was to run around none stop , some of us work all day and wanna have a relax play style .

Complaining about not being in a constant tickle fight sounds kind of gay. The maps are realistic and have better graphics than any other cod to date btw.
