Can anyone explain F1 in 2026?

I am rapidly losing interest in F1. @F1 @fia Maybe we need a new formula - #RawF1 - just petrol engine, chassis, and driver.

No mention of horsepower, torque, weight reduction, compression ratios, tire pressures, drag coefficients... nothing that makes Formula 1 not Formula E.

They need to stop kicking these stillborn regs. This isn't going to revive what could never live. GET RID OF THESE AWFUL REGS

These regulations make it so clear that the cars are managing themselves and the drivers have so little say in how they drive the car. F1 is no longer the pinacle of motorsport. It's a clownfest.

It means the game’s gone. F1 will lose a big chunk of its fan base. To be fair, i enjoy the GT3 races more.

This is just ridiculous, it’s not F1 & it’s not what F1 was ever meant to be. The FIA seem to be doing their best to ruin F1 while slowly migrating it to an electric formula. It may be what the FIA want but it’s not what the fans want, & without the fans you don’t have a sport.

I’ve been watching F1 for almost 35 years and have adapted and followed through every new set of regs, but these new rules are baffling and frankly boring. It’s ruining the sport.

How tf is it racing when its just who has more battery wins and fuck off to the best driver or the best driver of that day. Woke nonsense by audi and merc has killed f1 forever

Hate to say F1 is becoming borderline unwatchable. When your own fans don’t understand half the crap spewed by the FIA, don’t think it’s on the fans…the regulations suck

this just proves that the FIA and the owners of F1 are totally destroying the sport. Make the Electric power only assist with boost, make the ICE engine 95% of the power and leave the boost from the EV parts for passing. like an electric turbo boost. OR BETTER STILL. Bring back V10's and 100% sustainable fuels and reject the GREEN GRIFT NET ZERO AGENDA. Liberty Media must be bought out and F1 returned to its former glory.

F1 is so 💩 now. At the weekend I watched the Goodwood Members Meeting and BTCC. Way more exciting. I've been watching F1 since 1976 and I think im done with it now with all this electric crap. ⚡️🔋💩

Nope You don't know what it means Coz your whole take on this is to ridicule it. So FiA are at least trying to unburden cars being burden by what has been. 😜 In simple form, less reliance on MGU - K + more reliance on pistons to get laps in. Kapish ? Life can go on.
