Beautiful depiction of an ardent devi upasaka who sees the Jagat Janani in every woman, including his wife. The apradakshina was one glaring mistake, missed by the director.

This is the worst movie K. Viswanath has made. Some cine pundits say that after Shankarabharanam, some big wigs in Telugu land were disturbed. Shankarabharanam showed a Brahmin's greatness. And they forced Viswanath to make this movie to humiliate Brahmins. శోభనం చేసేటప్పుడే దేవతలా కనిపిస్తుందా, తాళి కట్టేటప్పుడు దేవతలా కనిపించదా?? అగ్ని సాక్షిగా పెళ్ళి చేసుకున్న భార్యను స్వహస్తాలతో వేరే మగవాడికి అప్పగంచడం పిరికితనము, నపుంసకత్వము, పైగా మహాపాపము. అదేదో గొప్ప అని చూపించటం అవార్డుల కోసం చేసే ప్రయత్నం. ఎంతో నీచము. ఇది బ్రాహ్మణులను అవమానించటానికి తీసిన సినిమా. విశ్వానాథుగారితో తీయంచటం ఒక నీచమైన కుయుక్తి. పరమ చెత్త సినిమా.

When I saw the movie for the first time, it didn’t occur to me why his newly wed wife appeared to him as mother Goddess - only later it occurred! Excellent movie and great songs - personally didn’t like the movie ending though!
