I think the problem I think you expect a bit much from the driver in this situation. You actually signalled quiet late for that large vehicle to slow safely, particular with limited rear vision, whilst being confident of other hazards around them.

He was speeding, so yes, he didn't have much time.

You've just said he doesn't have to give way - so why are you complaining about it? The driver did nothing wrong.

Not everything is about what people "have" to do

No. You’re a cyclist who pays no road tax or insurance to be on the road and you have no way of detection if you go through a red light, as many of you do. So no, you have no right to complain.

Try doing a proper hand signal not just pointing. You're at fault here.

Yes you’re in the wrong. Your arm needs to out at 90° not just a point of the finger. Next case please …

He doesn’t have to give way just because you signal FFS.

That's implicit in every single syllable of that film. He doesn't have to. Hope you feel better for having repeated what I said myself.

Between you signalling and him reaching you is around 3 seconds. That is not enough time for him to see that you've signalled, check for vehicles behind him, and then slow down and allow you to move. I personally have my hand higher, so it's easier to be seen, yours was a bit low

He's speeding, but let's ignore that
