Elon Musk: If you have billions of humanoid robots — and I think there will be — everyone on Earth is going to have one and want one. Assuming it’s very safe, who wouldn’t want a robot to watch over your kids, take care of your pets, and help with daily life? There just aren’t enough young people to take care of the old people. Taking care of elderly parents is difficult and expensive. A robot that could care for and protect an elderly parent would be an amazing thing to have. If you had a robot that could take care of your elderly parents, protect them, and be there 24/7, that would be great. That would be a truly life-changing technology for families around the world. I’m very optimistic about the future. I think we’re headed toward a future of amazing abundance — and that’s very cool. We are living in the most interesting time in history. On aging — I haven’t put much time into it yet, but I do think it’s a very solvable problem. When we figure out what causes aging, I think we’ll find it’s incredibly obvious. It’s not subtle.

Elon Musk is like a modern-day Bruce Wayne—no BS, completely transparent, and knows how to get things done. You might not like his communication style, but you can’t argue with his results.
