Can Mike McCarthy help develop Caleb Williams? Former Cowboy, JESSE (With No “i”), has questions about that: ⬇️

I completely disagree with this take. Every quarterback that has entered the NFL needed to be developed including Aaron Rodgers and Dak Prescott and Mike McCarthy played a part in both of their development. Trey Lance is a backup quarterback who Dallas took a chance on and wasn’t developed by 49ers who is probably a bust but Cooper Rush has played decent in Dak’s absence as a backup and was developed by McCarthy too. He might not be doing the work himself but as head coach he hired the right people and created the development plan. I also don't agree with the old school comment because Dallas was the highest scoring offense in the league(4th in TDs) just last year 2023 when Dak and the team was healthy. Again McCarthy hires good coordinators who have been innovative and coaches that develop players. Mike McCarthy isn't my first choice for head coach but we could do much worse. He's an experienced good head coach with a winning pedigree (12 playoff appearances in 18 seasons), he's not going to be afraid to get Poles in check and has developed QBs Rodgers and Dak. I'm just wondering what the issue was in Dallas. He took there to the playoffs three times in five seasons but they couldn’t get over the hump. My question would be, why couldn't he succeed further given the talent he has had on the roster? Again I’m not advocating for McCarthy because I would much rather have a younger coach who can grow with Caleb but there’s risk to hiring a first time head coach and we have experienced it three times straight now. I’m not opposed to hiring McCarthy because I understand why the Bears would consider him a good fit. He is the leader of men needed to bring standards and structure to the team and can also develop Caleb Williams along with the offense because his past experience tells us that he can. #DaBears #FirePoles

@Mr4thAndLong @CHGO_Sports @DLLS_Cowboys Aaron Rodgers was Aaron Rodgers? Who the fuck is this guy? Rodgers first season was 2005. McCarthy came to GB in 2006. Before he was a starter and cultivated for years to be the starter. So what the fuck is he talking about? That alone makes every other word spoken dumb as shit.

@Mr4thAndLong @CHGO_Sports @DLLS_Cowboys Aaron was not a starter when McCarthy got there so no, Aaron was not Aaron before McCarthy, Rodgers has said this himself, try to bash McCarthy all u want some of it is justified but one thing he can do is get the most out of a QB, Dak became a MVP candidate under him

The expected return of Greg Brockman to OpenAI will test how well he can coexist with CEO Sam Altman and others at the startup he co-founded.

@Mr4thAndLong @CHGO_Sports @DLLS_Cowboys Mike developed all them guys stop trying to bash so that u can up ben Johnson and I'm trying to find out didn't Ben coach Stafford also and couldn't get no superbowl out of him and then he go to LA and go to a superbowl and Stafford was Stafford before ben and so was Goff

@CHGO_Sports @DLLS_Cowboys I disagree with this take. McCarthy was the one who developed Rodgers.

@Mr4thAndLong @CHGO_Sports @DLLS_Cowboys And trey has gotten better way better than where he was in SF and he almost beat the commanders in his first start

@CHGO_Sports @DLLS_Cowboys CW needs someone to help him with the fundamentals. His inaccuracy this season was generational. 10th worst in 25 years down the field. People talk as though they’re certain he’s the one while Jayden is having the season they said belonged to CW.

@CHGO_Sports @DLLS_Cowboys Horrible analysis

@CHGO_Sports @DLLS_Cowboys Farve was a bust before Mccarthy coached him. Rodgers wasn't even starting for 3 years then became a god and won a superbowl with Mccarthy as coach. Yeah the guy who won 2 superbowls the last 20 years is terrible.......... Dak Prescott also improved. Cooper Rush ring a bell?

@CHGO_Sports @DLLS_Cowboys Aaron Rodgers became the starting QB in 2008. McCarthy’s 1st season as HC in GB was 2006.
