Can random chaos solve a problem without using logic? Instead of "thinking," this simulation fills the maze with "smoke." Thousands of particles bounce around randomly until one hits the exit. It’s far from efficient, but it gets the job done.

This is a hack I use when no one is available to help me pull fence. It’s definitely not as efficient, but it gets the job done! You just loop both ends of the chain around the forks and make it the appropriate length so you’re not having to raise the boom all the way up.

[wip] added clusters of particles to the system Particles can be assigned to a group Groups have unique attraction/repulsion settings with other groups (Jeffrey Ventrella) For now groups are randomly assigned to organisms particles, next step will be to control these groups (as well as other behaviours) using the graph rewriting growth. I'm so excited by this development, one of my issues with the raw clusters system was the lack of stability of emerging structures—using spring forces seems to fix it.

Psychiatry and its proxies have done such a pervasively dishonest job of informing patients about SSRI/SNRI withdrawal AND such a pervasively dishonest job of convincing those patients they have a innate chemistry problem with their brain, that it's not unusual to see patients saying things like "my depression has come back" after they miss just one dose of their antidepressant. Even though a depression diagnosis requires a minimum of two weeks of symptoms. But this TikToker gets it. And she gets how withdrawal is different. And she gets how withdrawal can be worse than the symptoms leading to the original diagnosis. And she's far, far from alone. (@ hannnnahblair, posted 10 April 2022, 13.5k likes as of today)

I've been trying to implement a parallel rigid body solver. It's a tricky problem in physics to solve a huge pile of objects on multiple threads. I've tried graph coloring and other means of splitting up the problem, but so far a locking primitive per body is the most efficient..
