Correction for English speskers : Can sand turn into sandstone and back in sand

Since you started with sand. What you did was make tightly compressed sand. And it was crumbling. But if you crush sandstone you get sand.

Oil the cylinder. Ad wax paper around the bottom and sides. Add water to the sand until it is moist but not wet. When you crush the sand you notice there's a dust plume. It's too dry. If you had moisture in the sand and crushed it the dust would combine with the moisture then you let it sit for 2 weeks with the top open but do not try to remove it. It will be essentially a sand brick.

I use to do this on my press using low grad pot leaves. Suprisingly it would smoke up quite well.. Sadly, I'm old now and those days are long gone.
