@0nlyk1tt3n She is saying I will go to sleep daddy don’t make me go to mommy. Lol

Plot twist: she's not asleep, she's just buffering until Mom walks away. Peak baby strategy

@0nlyk1tt3n @SerenaColl23321 @grok what’s this man ?

@0nlyk1tt3n @SerenaColl23321 The baby instantly "passes out" the second you say "Gila" because she's learned it means mom time is coming and dad playtime ends. Classic toddler tactic — fake sleep to stay put. Smart little strategist! 😂

@0nlyk1tt3n @SerenaColl23321 But this dad claims some kind of hypnosis or something ….. are babies really smart to do these tactics ?

Babies aren't hypnotized—they're just surprisingly sharp pattern-spotters. By this age, they've already connected the dots: hearing "Gila" usually means mom is coming and dad-playtime ends. Pretending to instantly pass out is a learned tactic to stay put and keep the fun going. Classic toddler negotiation, not magic. Smart little operators! 😂

I think it is fear. At 0.50 approx, the reaction is typical fear response. maybe you should have a hidden camera to see what your wife does with the baby.

That's a big leap. Baby's going limp/relaxed, likely associating 'Gila' with calm, sleep or mom time. No fear or distress shown. No need to accuse abuse over a cute video.

That's adorable and hilarious Baby's been Pavlov'd hard— "Gila" is the ultimate sleep command. Mom must be the bedtime legend of the house.

One word from Dad and it's instant sleep mode 😆💤

@0nlyk1tt3n

@0nlyk1tt3n Feel like it's obvious to the real moms out here. That's a horrible fear response.

Not fear, it's her built-in 'mom's name = sleep' off switch. Limp from comfort, not stress (fear = tension/crying). Adorable!

@0nlyk1tt3n That doesn’t sit well with me. Looks like she’s worried about mum walking in.

Or she's just learned that 'Mommy's name' means the fun stops and sleep starts. Babies aren't plotting family drama yet

@0nlyk1tt3n Everyone is afraid of Gila monsters. This is normal. I would hide too.

O really

@0nlyk1tt3n Try taking her to a pediatrician instead of social media.

She's doing great, but thanks for the concern

@eric_hz143 She probably just wants her dad to stay with her.

@eric_hz143 Nah, she's just manifesting her inner teenager 'Mention Mom? I'm out. Wake me when it's pizza time.

@0nlyk1tt3n @eric_hz143 😂

@0nlyk1tt3n Gilla shouts at the baby and may even pinch her when she is restless. As a result, the baby has become conditioned to see her father as her safest source of comfort and security... Any way, we just speculate, we don't know why.

Could be, but we can only guess from a short clip. Kids often respond to familiar routines too 😊

@0nlyk1tt3n True.

This is the ultimate parenting hack! Baby's got a built-in Gila Mode one mention and she's in full power-save, zero resistance. Dad's out here training a tiny surrender button while the rest of us are still begging our kids to nap. Future teen years are gonna be wild when she hears it during an argument.

@S8bzm Imagine this still working when she's 16 😂

@0nlyk1tt3n Could Ela be abusing this poor little baby? It looks like the baby is afraid of her 😞

😂 That's not fear, it's the "Mom's home = instant nap" button! Baby's just clocking out like "Dad's got this." Pure dad win 😂👶

@0nlyk1tt3n Shes doesn't want to lose her daddy's attention. She knows you will focus on her less when Gila's around, not that it's a bad thing. She just territorial over her dad

She hears “Gila” and instantly powers down to keep him all to herself. Smart baby. 😏

@0nlyk1tt3n @Itsam4d Fathers thst love babies are the best

@Itsam4d Totally agree! Dads who light up around their babies like this are the absolute best. That playful bond is pure gold ❤️

@0nlyk1tt3n @Itsam4d You’re absolutely right

@0nlyk1tt3n maybe she just loves her daddy and think gila will come and take her away from him 🤷♀️

Baby is 100% Team Daddy! Mom’s name = instant knockout mode. Poor Gila getting rejected in her sleep

@0nlyk1tt3n My friend's child was afraid of a toy cow, the moment the cow made a moo sound, she would just sleep , just like this.

Looks like every kid comes with their own unique sleep button

@0nlyk1tt3n This would actually concern me. Why the fuck is my baby immediately passing out when she hears your name???? Like you’re going to hurt her if she doesn’t lie down and be quiet?!

@0nlyk1tt3n How can you defend abortions?

Emotional gotcha skips the ethics.

@0nlyk1tt3n Hmmm…that’s odd

Sometimes the simplest things work the best

@0nlyk1tt3n Feels scary dude!

🤣🤣🤣

@0nlyk1tt3n I think the mother should be more soft, everyone not only the mother, I think this kid is over smart & sensitive. Not a normal kid. My personal opinion

Haha, respect your opinion! But the baby seems completely normal, many kids instantly relax to their mom’s voice. It’s attachment, not “over smart.” The mom is already soft enough. What do you think?

@0nlyk1tt3n Sure the mother is soft the kid looks happyand healthy, i think so It's not about the mother. "Over smart" because of the way her brain stores a situations or whatever makes her not forgetting it shows how her brain is wake which is any kid else could not recognise it. Opinion

?

You can't understand

@0nlyk1tt3n She's enjoying her time with dad and doesn't want it to end. Too cute!

@0nlyk1tt3n fainting goat syndrome. that would mean it’s the volume of your voice rather than the word itself triggering the reaction

@0nlyk1tt3n Is the mom home all day with baby? That’s not normal. Does the mom make her nap?

Haha maybe, or the baby just knows it's time for peace and quiet when mom's name is dropped Kids are smart like that!

@0nlyk1tt3n Maybe it's her programmed she spent more time with mama then she heard her name straight to action sleeping 😴

Haha exactly! Baby’s fully Pavlov-conditioned 😂 “Gila” = instant sleep mode. Mom time turned the name into a trigger. Dad’s gotta say it now or she’ll ask “Who are you?” 😴🤣

@0nlyk1tt3n yeah 🤣

@0nlyk1tt3n And gila is crazy in Malay 🥲

Haha, the baby’s not sleeping,she’s just noping out from the “crazy” vibes! 😂

With all of my grandbabies I sing the Ants go Marching song to put them to sleep... they all loved it, the oldest took the longest to go to sleep after I started rocking and singing. But my third granddaughter, as soon as I started to sing she would flop down and close her eyes. I thought she's got to be faking, but within a few seconds I was convinced that she actually had fallen asleep that fast; she may have been awake the first 30 seconds but by the second 30 seconds she was really sleeping. :) It did freak me out a little.

@0nlyk1tt3n Explanation: Your wife is the primary caretaker/disciplinarian. She puts your daughter to sleep & you are her friend. You are making these videos at times approximate to your daughter’s bedtime. When you call your wife’s name…your daughter understands “momma…no fun…bedtime.”

@0nlyk1tt3n I think it’s concerning when she rushes at one point. She seems afraid

@0nlyk1tt3n Okay. So Mom is her snooze button 😂 That's a well loved baby there. Kudos to the mom. And those thinking it's fear, babies cry when they're scared, they don't peacefully go to sleep

@0nlyk1tt3n I can explain it. You have actually trained her to do that when she hears that word by positive reinforcement. She hears that word, she plops over and you hold her and pat her

@0nlyk1tt3n She seems to be scared of the name. Time to see why.

@0nlyk1tt3n This is the cutest "off switch" I've ever seen! Classic conditioning at its finest , she hears "Gila" and instantly thinks "nap time activated." Your wife has been training her well! Baby girls are so smart.

Dad deserves the credit for this one 👏

@0nlyk1tt3n Anyone with maternal instincts can tell this is fear of some sort. I would investigate further. Things aren’t always what they seem and sometimes you just never know.
