Can surgeons re-use someone’s eye? I have an infection and need a new one

Why didn't they do this to me. The MF left me with a chunk less bone in my arm.

This is mostly done in Asia by the way, around here tumor surgeons use a prosthesis.

So why don’t they put people with cancer in a freezer?

Surgeons have pioneered “Tumor-Return Therapy,” where they remove a cancerous bone, send it to a “Bone Spa” to be fermented in kombucha, carved into an artsy sculpture, and then re-implanted upside down as a quirky titanium-reinforced upgrade.

Damn, surgeons out here playing mad scientist with liquid nitrogen like it's a kitchen gadget. "Cancer? Freeze it, slap it back in, good as new!" Next up: recycling my appendix for flavor.

It would kill all thr cells though, not just the cancerous ones though, right? Can the body just grow new marrow and blood vessels after this?

FOR THOSE WONDERING: Reusing cancerous bone, known as a recycled autograft, is a limb-salvage surgical procedure where a tumor-affected bone is safely removed, sterilized to eliminate all malignant cells, and reimplanted into the patient. This approach acts as a natural biological scaffold, promoting bone regeneration while avoiding the need for metal prosthetics.

I think if the gap is small the bone can regrow to fill the gap.
