Can “The Drop” succeed “Snowfall”?

It's starting off great... sure no doubt, but Brandy Norwood Jr. is very distracting. He has a very peculiar face and it takes away from the plot every time he's in a scene. Prolly just me.

The Drop to Snowfall is what Raising Kanan is to Power. By the end, you can debate if it was better. It feels more raw, more authentic, more natural. You’re drawn to certain characters and situations more because It’s eras you’ve actually seen or grown up in.

The Drop made me remember how much I hate child killer Leon and crackhead Wanda. They better bring Franklin back and help him bc they are where they bc of him. I’m still not over how my man Franklin ended up. I’m watching Snowfall again. 🫶🏼

It could. A story about the destruction of black youth and community will always be a hit in our community. The depiction of us at our worst tends to be the best shows that garner the most eyeballs. Hadnt seen an episode buy loved Snowfall. I can see it succeeding in the same way

Third episode got me leaning towards the potential of being better than snowfall. Haven’t been itching for a new episode to a show for a while.
