The narrative comes from announcing that he will start the 1st pre season game and then not give him the reps needed to prepare him . You give them reps to the guys that’s not playing which is why people are saying he is being set up to fail . Dan you get on my damn nerves

Why did he barely get any reps yesterday with the first squad when they know he’s starting tomorrow - think that’s where the narrative is coming from

I dont think people are complaining about him playing preseason, I think the complaints more are on how he will be treated in the regular season. I think it’s undoubtable that he’s the most talented QB on the roster with the highest upside. Browns are handling him like he’s 💩

Nobody ever was upset about him starting . It was about them not giving him reps to prepare to start after finding out he’s starting . Why is the coach giving the other players who he claims are hurt reps to begin with in a joint practice and limiting Shedeur. On top of that giving him less reps than the people the coach claims are hurt . For that reason it’s a set up . It reveals the coach lied about injuries clearly if he’s having hurt players get reps . Or maybe that’s just mal practice. Cause what happened to them being hurt ? It’s revealing he’s protecting them because they haven’t been performing to the level they expected they would & didn’t want it on tape in a preseason game. I am not sure who yal are use to , but many of us are educated and see through bull junk .

The point is that he’s had limited if any reps w the 1’s. If the plan was to sit Flacco preszn & Pickett is hampered then why still have Sanders running w 3rd & 4th team. He should’ve been getting ramped up to have a heavy workload this preszn. Instead they kept him w backups !

Fans understand. The complaint I have is not giving Shedeur any 1st team reps in camp before the first preseason game, especially when you have 2 guys nursing injuries. That made no sense. But yes, obviously Shedeur is your starter. And that's a good thing.

We want them to make sure he’s PREPARED by giving him reps vs the 1s. By not preparing him to be at his best it does look like sabotage.

I've never seen a player like Sanders get so much press and coverage when he's NEVER EVEN TAKEN AN NFL SNAP. If the dude fails, who gives a 💩. There will never be a lack of qualified QBs who will bring much less baggage to a team.

Anyone who’s been to camp says Shedeur has outplayed Gabriel and it’s not been close. Maybe people wouldn’t say Stefanski is setting Shedeur up to fail if he would not have been giving Gabriel and Huntley the reps that should have went to Shedeur. My god Gabriel is supposed to be hurt so why give him more reps than Shedeur who’s starting and gets to go against Carolina starters with Browns backup line who also struggled against Carolina second string! Once again you shoot off your mouth without knowing the whole story!
