Can Türkiye and Armenia normalize relations? Will the draft peace agreement agreed upon between Azerbaijan and Armenia materialize into a deal? I traveled to Yerevan to get Armenia’s perspective on the possibility of a regional rapprochement in a special Strait Talk featuring Nikol Pashinyan and Ruben Rubinyan.

@StraitTalkTRT Turkey unlikely to open its border and empower the impoverished regions of Eastern Turkey (Western Armenia) which is mostly populated by Kurds. After Iran, Turkey is next on Israel’s target list. U.S. of Israel will eventually use Armenia as a transit to arm Kurdish separatists.

@StraitTalkTRT To be honest, Armenia has a deep state, and the deep state is Armenian diaspora, Russia,Iran,France and Armenian dashnaks. Armenia should drop its accsusation of "genocide" against Turkeye. Someone who is accusing you a gencoide does not want peace with you or good relations.

🇦🇲🇷🇺🇦🇿“I recognized Nagorno-Karabakh as part of Azerbaijan after you had recognized it twice,” Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol #Pashinyan said to Russian President Vladimir Putin at the #Kremlin. The Armenian prime minister has voiced this idea multiple times in recent years, but this is the first time he has stated it directly to #Putin during the public part of a meeting. The point is that Russia acted as a guarantor/mediator/party in the November 9, 2020 trilateral statement. Moreover, Russia was an ally of #Armenia. Seven days after the signing of the statement and the freezing of the war, Putin made a statement recognizing #NagornoKarabakh as part of Azerbaijan. A few weeks later, he made a similar statement again. Taking into account #Russia’s status in the context of the conflict and its allied relations with Armenia, it became clear in Yerevan that Armenia had been left alone on the issue of #Artsakh. This, along with subsequent incursions by Azerbaijan into Armenia (and the lack of response from the #CSTO), forced Armenia to agree to the Prague Agreement of October 6, 2022. I don’t think you’ll find a bigger sell out than Soros stooge Nikol Pashinyan who today gave up Armenia’s right to the Zangezur corridor, that connects Azerbaijan's mainland to its exclave, the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, by traversing Armenia's Syunik Province. The U.S. will now have a 99 year lease on this trade route. This corridor deviates from the ceasefire established in 2020 between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Putin says Russia will not object to Armenia moving closer to the EU if Yerevan believes it is in the interests of the Armenian people. He added that if Armenia leaves the Eurasian Economic Union, ordinary migrant requirements will apply to Armenian citizens. There are over 2 million Armenians n Russia.
