Can we acknowledge that makeup, plastic surgery, Botox, injections, implants, photoshop, facetune, filters, etc etc exists on a spectrum of mental illness and body dysmorphia. The current landscape of EVEN JUST makeup use among women definitely edges into facial dysmorphia.

Dusty woman says she sees drop dead beautiful women DAILY, but she only MAYBE see's a man that good looking ONCE a YEAR?! Again, is it BAD for society that average looking women DO NOT find average looking men attractive? Women assess female attractiveness VERY generously (both their own, and other women) and assess male attractiveness VERY harshly. Many women tend to make AWFUL appraisals of men's attractiveness (underestimate) and their own attractiveness (overestimate). Additionally, women also tend to compare their bolstered curated appearance (makeup, botox, fillers, fake lashes, plastic surgery, filters, favorable posing, angles, lighting, etc) to men's UNBOLSTERED NON-CURATED appearance. If we lined up every woman on earth and put her next to her male equivalent, 90% of them would be in shambles.

Makeup is lying! Makeup is the functional equivalent of a man who works at McDonald’s lying and saying he is a doctor. AND I don’t even think that lie is nearly as potent as the differential in attraction that makeup can create. Men, would you feel deceived?

We all age. Ya’ll realize that right? Some people (cuz guys do it to) get Botox, fillers, wear makeup, etc. Some just age naturally. If you’re somewhere in between , those are my people. Like sure give me a little shot of Botox around my crows feet and forehead, but man my arms are jiggly and so is my stomach. Stop acting like aging isn’t a normal part of life, and that a 40 year old should look like a 20 year old. Cuz we aren’t supposed to.
