If you actually paid attention to the scene, it's obvious he genuinely thought they were over. and during the fight he literally said 'let's just end it.' They didn't talk after that. The real problem is that he didn't tell her not that he cheated!! the fact that she says 'we never stopped being together' is literally the show telling you there are two perspectives here... that line isn't just emotional it's intentional, not one objective truth. He clearly thought they had broken up, she didn't. That's the whole point. Jenny Han is showing how miscommunication affects both sides and mess things up. And you bonrads should know better than others since HE thought SHE KNEW and well she didnt 😂😂😭
