Interesting...I recently spent a week in a cold, dry environment (as opposed to my typical high humidity environment)...came back with a post nasal drip that turned into bronchial pneumonia...Its the first time I've been sick in 5 years....coincidence?

Yes, you can. That was the quick and easy answer. Long answer: You never “catch a cold”, any factor that directly or indirectly affects your immunity that’s always active (innate and adaptive) could provide an opportunity for the invasion of any. Cold, by itself is one of those factors. Also I don’t particularly like PhDs engaging in such an unprofessional way to discuss this. No, I don’t have anything against PhDs, have my own, unrelated. Why is she even recording at work? Who’s the lab technician? The more I pause the more I find this disturbing.
