Built out a poc in a video editor using html in canvas instead of going through janky svg foreign obj rasterization and it's been working well and is really performant. Can't wait to play with complex stuff now that it's working. Your content is inspiring some fun ideas for sure!

I was actually thinking about doing something very similar this morning. Creating ASCII art from a video camera feed. Looks like we ended up thinking along the same lines at the same time.

I love doing stuff like this. Years ago I sampled the average color of Minecraft blocks and wrote a script to build an image in game. More recently I had Claude write some code that processes a 3D model to build it.
