Canada has a monopoly problem. How did we get here? And how do we get out? Let’s bring home competition

Help me out Ryan. Virgin and Public were acquired by major carriers during the Harper era. So how is the lack of competition the fault of the current government? Prices were an issue under Harper and if I recall, he eliminated the three year plan, driving prices higher.

So…. The monopolies yall helped create? 🙃

Monopolies can only exist in an atmosphere of collusion between government and big business by restricting competition via government mandates and favoritism. There's plenty of historical data available to back this premise. Research Carnegie and Lysander Spooner's writings.

This outstanding work and finally someone called out the problem on the system. It won’t be an easy fix but at least someone is thinking about it.
