US/Canadian homeowners slowly realizing they're actually just a different variety of renter.

The systematic harvesting of Canadian real estate by corporate landlords has created a disastrous situation over the last 15 years. Canadians are suffering in ways that many people are unaware of, and in some ways. Canada's homelessness crisis is even worse than in the U.S. This is precisely what governments worldwide fear. People being educated and aware of how others live outside their bubbles is the greatest threat imaginable to the establishment. While China has its own brand of technofascism. Americans and Canadians cannot pretend that our governments are not similarly flavored. The propaganda ship is sinking, and there's no going back. The fact of the matter is just like with the all-western countries there is good and there is also bad, but we love to subscribe to that not in my backyard mentality and continue to wear rose colored glasses. Seeing the whole picture is how we as netizens and humans take back the power that has been ripped away from us all and divided likeminded people into opposing forces.

My understanding is they buy the house/condo and have the right to live there for a certain number of years… or until put out, but they do not own the land etc…. So not the same as in US or Canada

Dude, I challenge you to find the people most closely associated w/ this Chinese product & their lives on XHS. Not high-paid managers, package designers, lawyers, IT staff, marketers, etc. Go show me the high-tech luxury lives of the field harvesters & the factory workers.
