Easy answer. Follow the money If you look to see how much Montreal / Quebec gets in transfer payments.... they will continue to vote Liberal

I can tell you why my riding (Outremont) is Red. Most people don't follow politics and are convinced that their vote doesn't count. Most come from corrupt and poor countries and believe that here is heaven. Working 2-3 jobs is normal for them to make a living. Overall they live much better than in their homeland. Big cities will always attract people with low income, political and economical knowledge and highly prone to manipulation.

Change the CPC logo for a rainbow on a bicycle and all of Montreal will vote CPC.
