Nobody cares, nobody lives up there. We have lightning fires every year. Some years are better than others. It’s just the ever-changing weather, between Ice Ages. Climate change is a hoax.

Actually I care, most people care. Big question you should ask yourself is why don’t you care that 2,294,259 hectares of our forests have been destroyed. Weird take

The earth is a closed self-correcting ecosystem enduring for millions of years and millions to come. The forest will regrow. The human conceit is that we control the weather. To each their own weird takes.

I’m not disagreeing with any of this, but I still care and would like to know how we’re going to deal with seasons like this going forward.

Canada is a boreal forest that is designed to burn thanks to cool ecosystem adaptation that requires the forest to burn to rejuvenate itself. Hope this helps quell your fears. Those flames are not to scale either so chill out.

This is not because of Climate Change. The condition of the forest only means that if it is arson, the fire gets worse. The feds stopped all funding years ago for old wood clearing and cleaning up the brush to prevent fires from lightning strikes. Now govt uses the climate excuse

The one of the saddest aspects of these fires is the wildlife. The boreal forest is home to an incredible variety of wildlife.

Instead of sending 26 billion to the Ukraine, I wonder how many water bombers Canada could have bought 🤔
