Canada's MAID program: -Designed for individuals in an advanced state of irreversible decline. ie. terminal illness. -96% of Canadians who have received MAID, are white. -An Ontario man was assessed at a Tim Horton's parking lot & then driven straight to the procedure by the same doctor. -An individual who suffered from seasonal depression was denied MAID in Ontario, but received it in BC. He had complications from diabetes but was not terminal. -Multiple hospitals have offered MAID before treatment. A practice that should result in the revocation of the Doctor's medical license. -The Liberals included mental illness, but as an exclusion that expires next year. Meaning, if it's allowed to expire, MAID will be available for those with mental illness. None of this is compassion. There is no version of these examples, that is medicine. The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) has this advice on their website regarding MAID (Medical Assistance in Dying): "When completing a medical certificate of death for a person to whom MAID has been administered: - The illness, disease or disability leading to the request for MAID is to be recorded as the cause of death. - The certificate cannot include any reference to MAID or the medications administered." They are literally instructing doctors to omit MAID from death certificates. The cover-up continues.

Canada is on the verge of surpassing 100,000 assisted suicides. That number exceeds the country's entire World War II death toll. 🇨🇦 This is MAiD (Medical Assistance in Dying). Track 1 applies to those whose natural death is reasonably foreseeable. Track 2 is where it gets deeply troubling. Canada's own government website describes Track 2 to apply where a natural death is NOT reasonably foreseeable, leaving hospital bioethicists to determine whether a person has given "serious consideration" to other means of relieving their suffering. There is no clear standard. There is no defined boundary. It is, by design, a massive gray area. The United Nations has formally told Canada to stop Track 2 entirely. Mental health professionals, disability advocates, and medical groups are raising alarms about how poverty and lack of access to adequate care are shaping patients' decisions to choose death. Even doctors are saying something is inherently wrong here. Track 2 has not even been formally approved yet. The expansion it would bring is almost unimaginable. Hasan Piker to Axios: The American trajectory is downward, and China on the other hand is rapidly improving its material conditions for a broad basis of Chinese society. I think, trajectory-wise, I worry that a Chinese child might have better conditions in the next decade or next two decades than an American one. And I think that should worry every American citizen, not worry them from a xenophobic perspective, mind you, but it should be an alarming thing that we recognize and seek to address.

Psychiatry manufactured an epidemic of patients and sold it as medicine. Thomas Szasz spent his career proving we have an epidemic of psychiatry, not mental illness, because behavior control was never science or medicine. In 1961, he published The Myth of Mental Illness and showed that mental illness is a metaphor, not a literal disease like a broken bone or infection. For decades, the field explained depression as a chemical imbalance that pills could fix, and Szasz called the whole story a myth. But a 2022 review led by psychiatrist Joanna Moncrieff found no consistent evidence for the specific serotonin theory behind it. Szasz summed up his life’s work by naming what was happening: the psychiatrization of the whole culture. And it is still expanding, one diagnosis at a time.
