i Have lived in Canada for a over a decade and i feel bad whenever i see posts like this especially from Newcomers. For any immigrant struggling to get a job, the best words i can give is talk to d right person who has walked ur path and succeded to save yourself time..

Canada's job market is crazy but people are getting jobs. You CAN'T have only one CV in canada. Design different ones to meet different roles and apply mindlessly and mindfully at thesame time. If you ain't getting feedback or you are getting rejections, then fix up your cv 1st

All your people want to live in the cities. There are jobs for them to do in the rural areas. When they are ready to work, they know what to do.

Uk people don go Canada But all my family members and relatives are changing jobs with joy, like recruiters are just reaching out to them instead 😂 The system is simple but you guys don’t understand it

That is a big lie....Go out and search for job...stop applying Online every time. Walk to places,dont be scared,talk to people, i didnt even stay a month before getting one,all thanks to God though but I spoke to people without shame, there are many job agency too. Apply with dem

They are definitely doing it the wrong way. It’s only when one knows your situation to know what exactly you are doing wrong. One common mistakes I see is putting all the BSc and masters you have in Nigeria on your resume, nobody will call you o.

For a newcomer , first go to nearby hotels and restaurants they hire always . Then within those times tick your driver’s license. With dl you will get another job and that’s how experience grows .

Get a locense, psw, dsw, security, social works, g2 license etc You will get job within 30 days…

You can get a job as an immigrant, but you just need to set yourself apart. You need a distinguishing factor. Speak the Canadian language in your resume, position yourself as a solution provider, not someone is wants to “learn”

As a Recruiter in Canada, I can tell you that there are jobs, skills mismatch is the problem. Most Canadian companies do not have the time to train people to do a job, the need people who can hit the ground running.

I told my friend sometime ago that it’s an unwise decide to migrate from the UK to Canada if you’re already on COS. Also, if anyone is considering relocating from the UK, it should be the United States but then, with a Green Card. Canadian job market is saturated right now.

Just so you know, about 70% of jobs are others advertised. Some things that can help: Grow your network, learn relevant skills for your environment, volunteer genuinely, be patient and trust God

Canadian job market requires a certain level of skill. One simple thing you can do is to connect with any HR personnel and request for Resume review. Ask and learn from them. A lot of their interviews are more about character compatibility. They wanna know if you'll fit.

If you do not mind manual labor jobs, visit agencies like Drake Intl, Manpower, Adecco, Aerotek, Randsdad etc There are temp, temp to perm and perm jobs there Better still, start a business 😁😁 that is the surest way in Canada 🇨🇦

The truth is that some people are just lazy, there are jobs everywhere. You just need to have a proper plan and understand how the system works. It might be tough to get but realistically what are their qualifications and how they present their CVs and application also matters
