Cumulative US foreign aid 1946 to 2023. Annually we are now giving away over $63 billion officially. If you include Ukraine, It around $200 billion in the past two years, so the annual spending is closer to $160+ billion per year in 2023 and 2024. We have a $2 trillion annual budget deficit. We should be spending $0.00 on foreign aid and military aid to others. We cannot even remotely afford what we are doing.

Aside from the fact that more than 75% of the money that we give Israel, they have to spend with our military in industrial complex which provides 20,000 jobs to American families this is the estimated cost we would have to pay if we didn’t have an MOU with them for the security services we need in the Middle East. What would cost the U.S. to replace what Israel provides: ∙Intelligence replication: $10-30+ billion/year (wildly uncertain) ∙Combat data and weapons testing: $2-5 billion/year ∙Avoided troop deployments and basing costs: $5-10 billion/year ∙Missile defense co-development savings: $2-4 billion/year amortized ∙Cybersecurity and counter-terrorism cooperation: $1-3 billion/year Again, these are just rough estimates because we actually have no idea how much it would cost because we depend on them for so much of this stuff.

I appreciate the Democrats' newfound fiscal responsibility, but the vast majority of our debt and deficit comes from entitlements, not defense spending. They're suddenly budget hawks when it comes to national security but silent on the $2+ trillion we spend on social programs and the $500+ billion that is wasted on fraud each year (per GAO).
