This exposes just how deep and unchecked Khalistani extremism runs in Canada. On a Diwali weekend no less, when Hindus are celebrating the triumph of knowledge over ignorance and good over evil, we witnessed violent attacks at a Hindu mandir. But, of course, any Hindu who dares to question or resist this is swiftly branded an “Indian agent,” accused of engaging in so-called “transnational repression.” And yet, #CdnPoli shies away from naming the culprits while media and academics churn out essays valorizing terrorists as “activists” and dismiss #Hinduphobia as a figment of imagination. These events have made it alarmingly clear that certain Gurdwaras and religious processions are being co-opted by violent Khalistani extremists who exploit Canada’s democratic freedoms to glorify terrorism, incite division, and call for violence against Hindus and democratic states like India. In January 2022 many Canadians who had lost hope started hearing of a movement by truckers. They were going to come from all corners of our Country to protest against the loss of our freedoms and against the mandates. I will never forget watching the first videos of them, seeing the Canadians on overpasses cheering them on, standing in solidarity & then the thousands of Canadians who joined them in Ottawa. It will forever be the greatest protest Canada will ever have witnessed. It brought my family immense hope. It showed us that we were not alone. Thank you Tamara Lich 🇨🇦 & Chris Barber (Big Red) & everyone else involved.
