Canadian real estate may be broken, but the tiktok didn't explain it. Houses may be across the river from each other, but they are in DIFFERENT COUNTRIES. Imagine comparing Manhattan Island NYC real estate with right across the Hudson River, West New York, New Jersey RE... comparing apples to watermelons

Not that it’s not broken, but there’s a huge difference between Niagara Falls US and Niagara Falls Canada. Vastly different demographics :)
