Have you ever noticed that overthinking is always associated with negative thoughts? We never say “I have too much gratitude, too much encouragement, too much hope. I just have too much belief in myself today”. It’s always on the negative side. But the minute you focus on love, love unites and it creates connection, clarity, confidence and courage. It’s a great tool for both athletes and leaders just to focus on loving playing, loving the competition, loving the moment, loving the battle. Not worried about the outcome. That helps you overcome all the fear and negativity coming your way and when you live it, and you allow it to live through you, you become a powerful force in the universe. This was from a recent talk to the PGA of America.
