I've spent a lifetime confusing friends who are really just transactional acquaintances. I've been there for everyone— no ones been here for me. 😢

Why are you carrying Rebecca to the bathroom? You’re going to hurt yourself. Doesn’t she have a wheelchair or a transfer chair? Is she not on Medicaid which can provide equipment? You do have to worry about yourself but also try to make things easier for you.

because our house is small. there is no room to get a wheelchair in bathroom or around the house. When she wakes up on the middle of night she's always weak and disoriented. So I help her with her walker but the walker can be a challenge getting into the bathroom. Her Parkinson’s causes orientation issues... she sometimes can't figure out how to lower herself into the toilet and has a difficult time knowing if she's on it properly. So I do what I have to do.

So sorry you’re going through this. Cancer really is a never ending saga. :(

Have you thought about hospice for Rebecca? They are wonderful and you can receive so much emotional support from them as well…
