She's not lying. If Giselle were a darker-skinned woman her antics would be viewed a lot more as her being aggressive than as fun shade as some call it. We all saw how Monique was being treated before she put her hands on Candiace.

Ashley’s response is very disappointing. She’s more concerned at the accusation of colorism than the fact that this right here is an example of the colorism Candiace experiences.

What Candiace said had nothing to do with colorism. It was reality. These white women and light skinned black girls get away with lying that it makes it hard for authority figures to listen to darker skinned ladies.
