Untrained and unsafe gun owners give too much ammunition to those that want to infringe on the second amendment. It's relatively easy: don't be a dummy with a gun and don't do stupid stuff with a gun. It really pushes fellow Americans who don't have a strong opinion on the matter towards voting to restrict the second amendment because who can defend such blatantly unsafe behavior?
That idiot should have been walked off the range.
What's the problem? The world has really gone crazy when a man can't stretch and casually threaten the lives of everyone around him without some tightass safety hero ruining the fun for all of us!
