Yesterday, I led a high-level Federal Government Technical Committee to Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, to assess the facilities at the Victor Attah International Airport, Uyo in readiness for its commencement of international operations after its upgrade by the Federal Government to full international status. The Technical Committee comprises officials from the Customs, Immigration, NDLEA, Quarantine, Police, DSS, the Federal Ministry of Aviation and all its relevant agencies (NCAA, NAMA, NIMET, FAAN). After the inspection of the facilities with the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno together with his team, all the representatives of the Federal Government agencies present expressed great satisfaction with the quality and scope of work at the international airport. They all gave reports on their various observations regarding the little gaps that need to be addressed before operations begin. The Governor gave his firm commitment to address these gaps promptly. As a result, the technical committee will continue its work and report progress ahead of the projected period for commencement of international operations which is the second quarter of 2026.

Yesterday, as you can see from this video, Judge Richardson DENIED Harrison bail, and denied him of a public defender saying “he doesn’t qualify for a public defender”, and that she’s placing him on a flight ban because she said he’s a “flight risk and likely to commit felonies”. Meanwhile he hasn’t done anything wrong. He was simply trying to investigate a STOLEN ELECTION. This is completely unconstitutional and a violation of Harrison Floyd 🇺🇸’s rights. He is an innocent man who is being falsely accused and held hostage in jail! He has a wife and a small toddler daughter and he can’t afford a lawyer, and now he’s being denied a public defender when public defenders are even given to rapists and serial killers. Everyone is entitled to a public defender. How can he be denied a public defender? He said he can’t afford a lawyer. He was told that he could post bail at $5,000 and then Judge Richardson said he can’t even post bail anymore, which means he has to stay locked up in Fulton County Jail, one of the most dangerous jails in America. $GME GameStop okay I might be missing something here… But can’t stop thinking about something Ryan Cohen said yesterday… Let me begin by first saying Ryan Cohen is VERY careful with his words. Listen to this part of the interview. Ryan is using deal math that gets to a post-merger ownership of 60% eBay / 40% GameStop for existing shareholders. But at Friday’s closing stock price of $26.53, that math was 70:30 (see below) I don’t think Ryan meant this point as a hypothetical. Meaning I think the dilution math will ACTUALLY be 60:40. Which brings me to key point #1: This would mean Ryan is implying $GME stock will be at the price needed for 60:40 by the time the deal is finalized. Well, for ownership split to be 60:40… According to my math (disclaimer: I’m bad at math) that price is ~$40. Ryan also said he’s ready to GO on the transaction NOW. Which brings me to key point #2: This would mean GameStop is sitting on news. And Ryan is confident that news will send the stock to *drumroll please*… AT LEAST $40. But at Friday’s closing stock price of $26.53, that math was 70:30 (see below) I don’t think Ryan meant this point as a hypothetical. Meaning I think the dilution math will ACTUALLY be 60:40. Which brings me to key point #1: This would mean Ryan is implying $GME stock will be at the price needed for 60:40 by the time the deal is finalized. Well, for ownership split to be 60:40… According to my math (disclaimer: I’m bad at math) that price is ~$40. Ryan also said he’s ready to GO on the transaction NOW. Which brings me to key point #2: This would mean GameStop is sitting on news. And Ryan is confident that news will send the stock to *drumroll please*… AT LEAST $40. That’s how he’s going to buy eBay. 50% cash, 50% stock. It’s on the website. In Ryan we trust. Moass is tomorrow.

That is a reasonable thing to expect of our leaders. It is not too much to ask. We can do this. Most of us already want this. So the obvious question is: Why hasn’t it happened? And that’s where we’ve got to talk about the system that we’re living with, which, by the way, as a politician, they kind of tell you not to do. Consultants say, “Look, no one’s going to get too fired up about the details of our democratic system when they’re just trying to keep their heads above water in this economy,” which I get, and to some extent I agree. But the reason that so many things are wrong with our economic picture is that so many things are wrong with our political system. And we’ve gotten so used to it, we can forget that there was a time when our political system was the pride of this nation. Wars have been fought for our system, starting with the first one—the one that launched 250 years ago with the Declaration of Independence, the one that gave this nation its being. The Founders risked their lives for a better political system. So don’t tell me it can’t stir people’s hearts. Don’t tell me that it’s not worth fighting for. Especially because until we do something to change our political system, we will continue to suffer from an economic system that lets us down: monopolies squeezing families and farmers on both ends; consumers and workers caught up in a system that can’t serve them; small businesses swamped by the big guys. Right now, what’s at stake is nothing less than the American dream. It is endangered.

Ekpoma is bleeding. Kidnappers have taken over Edo state. They now go from house to house, kidnapping families; students most especially. I have read the gory stories of the events of yesterday, & I'm very much terrified. Reports say that lives were lost in Ekpoma. Shot by the police & the army, scores were injured as well. They shot at civilians & arrested students in their hostels. Everyone should their voice to this cause, because media reports have been nothing but underwhelming. We mustn’t abandon the people of Ekpoma because the protests had EndSARS theme; Nigerian authorities are yet to learn any lesson. Many were outside; people got obviously tired of waiting to be k!lled, so they took to the streets. Now students are leaving. Freshmen want to write JAMB again, they will do anything (just to leave the school environment). School surrounding is not safe, Ekpoma itself is not! Kidnappers demand as high as N100 million from students as ransom, & kill them when they fail to raise it. Where do you want Edo students to get that large amount of money from? Children from Ekpoma protested against the insecurity in their state. And in keeping with tradition, the police opened fire as usual. Many were arrested for having the temerity to protest for their dear lives. Another kidnapping happened in a home in Ekpoma in broad daylight, around 6 O’Clock yesterday. Of course, the police were nowhere to be found! Attached is the live feed of that terrifying event. Nigeria is unbelievable! People protested against insecurity, & you pointed the end of the barrel at them BECAUSE YOU CAN, & THERE IS ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY WHATSOEVER! And where is Monday Okpebholo & Bola Tinubu?
