There is absolutely nothing purer in this world than the “Post-Vet Reward Trip.” He was the bravest boy for the doctor, so naturally, we had to stop by the store for a little prize. I told him he could pick out one toy. I was thinking a tennis ball or maybe a small squeaky toy... he clearly had bigger plans. I’m convinced dogs have no concept of their own size, yet they have a very precise understanding of exactly which plushie is the biggest one on the shelf.
