Yes, when I got scammed FNB and the SAPS also did nothing. The SAPS phoned ME and asked ME if I have received any more information from the suspect after they tried calling him. Since then, nothing. 🤦‍♂️

I had a similar issue with @CapitecBankSA and lost R5000 from my bank account. Pending means it's not out yet, and Capitec should have the authority to stop it from leaving your account if you reported it.

Most of staff working at Capitec is crooks. That's why I switched banks. No more fraud on my bank account. One of their staff members bought Luno out of my account after I call them with a problem over a debit order I did not approve. I'm done with capitec for good

Bank with FNB, it's a bit more but they secure, service is excellent and you know what you paying for. Capitecs bank charges might be cheaper but my colleagues money was also compromised and they did absolutely nothing, always blaming the client.

Nope!! @CapitecBankSA don't help at all. They turn the case around and blame the customer for being irresponsible and sharing their pin woth everyone else. It's ridiculous actually!! Same thing happened to me!! I've had enough of their bullshit!! These are not isolated cases. Many people have moaned about this as well as have gone to the tabloids, but nothing happens. Capitec doesn't even respond!! They're useless!!
