Personally I think that's for security reasons.. That's why there is levels to this banking things.. Fnb has almost 5 banking levels.. Standard bank has over 6 banking levels to avoid such things. Imagine receiving 100k in a TymeBank account.. Then tomorrow cry fault saying they scammed you

The moment you deposit more than 100k in a personal account on a daily basis. Capitec will freeze your account unless you send them proof of funds and the source of it. Rather your bank freeze your funds than allowing unauthorized debit orders like a certain bank
