No, they are just aware that almost every smartphone has image OCR. Meaning that you can copy characters from an image. OCR = Optical Character Recognition.

You can just copy and paste the number from the picture

But a good phone can cut nd paste the numbers….not all people are smart thou

iPhone actually can copy from the picture, her struggle shouldn’t compare to everyone

If you have an iPhone it can select text and numbers naturally and has a function to copy from the pic and paste. If you have an android, Google Lens can also copy out texts and numbers from a picture. Done. You can stop whining now and pay people.
