Caroline Munro on how lucky she was to be cast in "The Golden Voyage of Sinbad" (1973): "I had been signed by Hammer, for one year, for a contract, out of which I did two films; one being 'Dracula A.D.' (1972), and the second one being 'Captain Kronos - Vampire Hunter' (1974), which kind of would come full circle to Sinbad. [Captain Kronos] was written and directed by Brian Clemens, who wrote the screenplay for 'The Golden Voyage of Sinbad' (1973), so I was lucky enough to have been chosen for 'Captain Kronos', and they were searching for some body to do Sinbad, and they wanted a big name, somebody American or well-known, but Brian said “No.” He kept lobbying Charles Schneer & Ray Harryhausen, saying, “I think you should come and look at the rushes and see what you think, because I think she’s right.” So they said “No,” but eventually Brian persuaded them to do that, and they saw the rushes, and that was how I got the part. So it was lovely, like work-out-of-work. I was very lucky to have done that.” ("Caroline Munro, First Lady of Fantasy", Robert Michael 'Bobb' Cotter, 2012)

Caroline Munro explains the reasons for the failure of "Captain Kronos: Vampire Hunter" (1974): "Munro: 'Captain Kronos' (1974) was very badly received at the time. It didn’t have much recognition. Maybe it was ahead of its time, because it was really soft. It didn’t have any s € x, it didn’t have much violence. It was meant to be more of a spiritual thing, more intellectual. But the fans didn’t get it, I think." Interviewer: I just saw it again yesterday and I noticed how in some scenes it seems to be an homage to the expressionist horror films of the thirties. The art direction is gorgeous. Munro: That is exactly the reason why it’s somewhat of a cult film now. It was Brian Clemens’s directorial debut and he was wonderful. He was as nervous as I was. But I loved the film and I loved my part in it. Interviewer: When you were working for Hammer they were just going in a new direction, more s€xualized. I suppose it was all kind of blatant, the way they used the females. But KRONOS didn’t have anything titillating, whereas "Dracula A.D" (1972). did. Maybe that’s why A.D. was a success and KRONOS wasn’t. But also, A.D. had a great cast, with Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing. In another interview, she said: "The movie didn’t have any publicity at all. Nothing. In fact, we weren’t even told it was coming out. It just crept out in Hammersmith; I and my family went to see it one evening. And that was it—we never heard another word about it." (Caroline Munro's interview taken from 'The Flashback Files" & Munro's interview to Fangoria)

It’s time to End The Federal Reserve “What is the Federal Reserve and what is your answer?” G. Edward Griffin “Well, what it is, it's a cartel. It's not a government agency. It has the appearance of being a government agency and they went to great lengths to give it that facade. It does have the power of government because Congress voted to give the power of enforcement to it. But in its essence, underneath it, it's a cartel. It's nothing different than a banana cartel or an oil cartel, sugar cartel. It happens to be a banking cartel. They got together, they drew up the rules and regulations for their own industry to self regulate their own industry is what cartels do. And then they sent it to Congress and they took off the label at the top that said banking cartel and they erased that and they said Federal Reserve Act, Congress passed it into law. And that's why we think it's a government agency, is because if you don't obey the rules that they set down for their own industry, you go to prison. And so it looks like a government agency, but basically the answer to your question is, it's a banking cartel.”

The Nigerian government is sending people in Lagos back to their State of Origin. Let that sink in. They are dividing their own people, treating them as foreigners within their own country. This is not a policy of unity, it is a policy of exclusion. It is a testament to the deep-seated tribalism that has plagued Nigeria since independence. The Igbo, the Hausa, the Yoruba they cannot live together. They don’t trust each other, they don’t love each other. They cannot build a nation. This is why Nigeria will never be great, despite its immense potential. They have resources. They have the people. But they are divided by tribe, by religion, by region. They hate each other within their own country, and they refuse to confront this hatred. They would rather send people back to their "State of Origin" than build a nation where everyone belongs. This is not leadership, it is surrender. And until they confront this reality, Nigeria will remain a country of potential, not of progress. ✊🏾

When monks leave their monasteries to walk for peace, it's not only symbolic, it's a warning. They don't seek attention. They don't ask for power. They walk only when the world is out of balance. They carry nothing but what's given to them. This isn't a protest. It's a prayer in motion. The fact that Buddhist monks are walking for peace in America should make us all pause. This is serious, rare, & it matters. People need to quietly stand and watch to take it in. Understand the significance. They’ve never walked in the US.

As it always is, this Presidential election was once again about the economy. The majority of American people feel that they were better off four years ago than they are today. That is a big reason why President-Elect Trump won this election. As Democrats reevaluate their future, they need to do a better job of listening to the American people about their real concerns rather than pushing for too much change too quickly. That may be hard for some to hear, but it's a reality they will need to face if they want to win over the majority of the American people.

The unconditional love for Balochistan; Baloch fighters eat grass to sustain their liberation movement The Army of the Republic of Balochistan is fighting a war for its homeland, its people, and its right to self-defense. They are making sacrifices for their land while standing on their own soil and defending their own country. The Baloch army is an army that does not sell its conscience and does not become a proxy force for money. Their determination, love, and devotion to their homeland are so deep and unconditional that even when they have no shoes, they choose to walk barefoot rather than surrender before the enemy. Even when their clothes are torn and worn out, they remain ready at all times to confront and defeat the Pakistani military. And when they have nothing to eat, they are willing to survive on grass if necessary in order to continue defending their homeland. The Army of Balochistan is envisioned as a force that, with control over its coastline and natural resources worth billions of dollars, would become one of the most modern militaries in the world and, within two decades, the military of a developed nation. It is to make that promising future a reality that our struggle continues with unwavering determination. A brave and sincere Baloch army, driven by an extraordinary love for its land and people, cannot be defeated by Pakistan.

🚨 President Trump just DROPPED this line on data centers: "What it means for a community is jobs and lots of money and lowers taxes!" "And the data centers now are mandated by me that they build their own electricity, so they're not taking it from the grid!" "It's going to lower the electricals because they're building electricity, and the extra, as an example, we talked about this one, I'm very proud of it. It was my idea." "They're going to build their own electric producing facility. And that electricity that they have left over is going to the grid. It's going to lower the cost of electricity."

What absolute nonsense. Don't most people want to work hard to do better by their own families? To have a better house, better holidays, better furniture? Isn't that a worthwhile thing? Wouldn't life be very much better if more people took responsibility for their families and for building their own future? And when they do that, and have a little bit left over to help people less fortunate than themselves—isn't that a good thing? And aren't we trying to get the Third World out of the poverty it's in by building up its industries and having some investment to go and help them with? John Wesley answered the question you just put: 'Do not impute to money the faults of human nature.' It's not the money, it's not the wealth you create; it's what you do with it. Many people use their money to do more for the arts, to see more, to enjoy more of the great artistic works. Look at the fantastic voluntary effort in this country. It's enormous. Greed? Isn't it absurd! Trade unions mostly argue for higher wages. They argue for bigger differentials. Some people are greedy. But people who want a better standard of living and better way of life for their children are not. They're highly moral. They're highly valued citizens and they're usually those people who look after their houses, their families and they look after their neighbourhoods—community spirit. This is the real 'Thatcherism'.

I write this with a deeply broken heart following the tragic loss of five precious lives aboard the Bell 430 helicopter flight from Chikomba to Harare. It is difficult to find words for a tragedy of this magnitude. They left their loved ones never knowing that it would be their final journey. In a single moment, families lost people they loved, voices they knew and lives they still expected to share tomorrow with. Life can be painfully fragile and unpredictable. Today five families are carrying a pain that words cannot adequately describe. My heart and deepest condolences go to the families and loved ones of Mr Wicknell Chivhayo, Mrs Lucy Chivhayo (née Muteki), Miss Senelisiwe Magagula, Captain kelvin T Soda and Captain Courage Mutavirwa. May God hold every grieving family close and give them strength through these darkest hours. Gone too soon. May their souls rest in eternal peace and may their memories forever live in the hearts of those who loved them.

Some of you may agree with Bill Maher and some of you may not…but this is a must watch for us as a country. Its the “come to jesus” speech we all need. There is a point of no return and you lose the ability. It feels as if that is closer than we think.

Stop touching the baby. They don't need a bath. They don't need to be wiped down. That creamy, cheesy stuff? It's called vernix - and it's incredible for their skin. Think of it as the beef tallow of birth - deeply nourishing, naturally protective, and meant to stay.

"It is the people who have a tangled web of European ancestry such that they can no longer be defined as Germans or English or Irish or whatever. They could never go to these lands and not themselves be foreign. This is the only land for them." John Doyle

BROWDER: Most important thing is that Russians have been led to believe that "special military operation" in Ukraine was some far-off, distant thing that didn't affect average Russian. Now every Russian is affected by it. It's no longer "special military operation", it is a war. It's a war that's hitting them in pocketbook. It's a war that's making them stand in line for gas. It's a war where they can actually see plumes of black smoke on the horizon in St. Petersburg and Moscow. And that completely changes psychology of Russian people about how this war should be thought about and whether it's a war that they really want. Is it something that helps their lives? Is it something that makes them better off? And it was easy for them to think about it theoretically and say, "Okay, yeah, this is a great war of conquest." But it's no longer theoretical. It's very practical, and it affects their lives.

All suspicions have been confirmed about Maui. They did this on purpose. This was not an accident or a freak force of nature. It's geoengineering and using weather as a weapon to level and evict people from their land for their sociopathic sustainable development goals and transhumanist smart cities. No one in their right mind would give up their land in Maui. It was beautiful and as close to perfection as one could get in a place to live. Knowing that, the only solution is to force people out, and because no one would sell, they just destroyed it and leveled it to have a clean slate for the smart city where all the rich assholes will live. Coincidentally the government signed a bunch of bills in the days to weeks prior with anti-housing proclamations allowing them to take lands from the people.

John: What's interesting about Ilya and SSI is that it's a venture-style bet: let the scientists experiment, maybe it will work out, and if it works it's huge. The expected value is high. What's crazy is that it's a venture-style bet at growth scale. And it's a massive amount of capital for something where the consensus is: "If he solves it, it's incredibly valuable, and he leap frogs everything. And if not, maybe he just gets lost in a sea of research and never really produces anything." Also: this type of capital deployment has been happening internally at Google for a long time, but it hasn't been that big of a deal because they have the engine for it.

This makes a mockery of our entire political system and our constitution The oath is supposed to be understood as well as given We have a common language in the UK, it's English This should be the only language you can take an oath in Why are they allowed to declare they don't care for their oaths before swearing them? What's the point in an oath that they clearly have no intention of keeping? None of these people should be allowed to take part in politics They are subversives and traitors, they should be treated as such
