One thing that @Nedbank got right.... it's the scan QR code withdrawal (Get Cash) feature, there's no need to put in pin codes

That’s the reason I don’t use ATM from outside malls

I'd rather swipe or ask cash back in shops

Always cover the keypad, whenever you put your pin anywhere, make sure you put one hand covering the keypad, that is my SOP

But they say these scammers know the sound of each number mos

Maybe old ATMs, not knew ones, the sound of buttons when you punch is the same

Cloning cards

I stopped using my bank card at the ATM long ago. When I need cash, I withdraw via a CashSend voucher from the banking app, punch in the OTP pin and withdraw. No stress

That's why I never use my Card to withdraw cash ..if ever need cash.. EWallet yourself or Cashsend.. that way. They can Rot
