3 reasons why we chose to deploy our rollup in the ZKsync Elastic Chain ecosystem. 1⃣ SXT smart contract execution layer SXT is a blockchain designed for collecting, storing, querying, and proving data to smart contracts. Unlike an EVM chain, it's not designed to execute smart contracts. This protocol update from the Core Team is described as one of the last protocol upgrades before Protocol 27, which is anticipated to conclude the network's current development period. The new protocol will: - Provide enhanced protection against attacks on smart contracts - Improve the state management - Increase cross-chain functionality - Add some cryptographic updates as well Protocol 27 is officially considered "the final planned upgrade" of the network and is scheduled for the second half of 2026.
