Por qué .. por qué osea que asco de doblaje no podías dejar el opening como está y solo traducir la letra como hacemos todo el resto del planeta , claro no por qué sus mentiras de estado unidenses tienen la mente cerrada

notese como el titulo es simplemente "cardcaptors" y no "sakura cardcaptor" como en el resto del mundo, querian a la de ahuevo que la serie fuera popular con los niños y que no se viera "para chicas"

This was such a good opening. Shame it's tied to a dub that butchered 70 episodes down to 39 because US censorship laws were incredibly homophobic and they were told to censor all gay flirting, but to avoid coming off as homophobic, the publisher cut all Sakura/Li flirting too.

Same VAs.

Wtf???? The original opening is way better than this thing.

Another example of magical girl dubs getting the best OST’s but the worst sensorship and script cuts… you win some, you loose some I suppose 🤷🏼‍♂️

is this version they tried to make sayoran more like a protagonist? lol, why change stuff which doesn't need to be changed? this op looks shitty and tries to kill ccs shoujo vibe to make it seem more like a battle-oriented anime... 😅

I still can't get over how years later (in the dub), it turned out Kero, Yukito & Touya were Ed, Edd n' Eddy.

I actually never saw this version. I watched the later, more accurate dub, Cardcaptor Sakura.

Even the name they went with makes no sense. It's true Syaoran captures cards in the anime(sorta) but he doesn't capture a single one in the manga. Meaning "Cardcaptors" sounds stupid when it's only Sakura and her wand capturing all the Clow Cards.

This was the better dub. I HATED the redub.

This dub of the show was great. Don’t know how far it got. It did change A LOT OF THINGS.

Wild. Core memory unlocked. This used to come on before Pokemon in the afternoons back in the day on KidsWB. I only watched it a couple times (to kill time until Pokemon, really) but I remembered the OP slapped.

The Americanization of some anime openings aren't horrible. I watched Cardcaptor Sakura not knowing this wasn't the original opening
