👏👏👏Chamath Palihapitiya thought very little of President Trump when he came into office. But as time passes, he realizes how wrong his outlook was. The ultra-successful businessman and early executive at Facebook shows how a true free thinker can adjust their opinions. The whole All-In Pod also praised Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner, a senior advisor to Trump and in charge of brokering peace between Israel and Palestine. Kushner's recent long-form interview on Lex Friedman's podcast brought praise. Chamath: "But Jared Kushner is thoughtful. He's smart. I was fed all these lies for years about how this guy was, like, moping around in the shadows and this and that, and it was all not true. David Sacks: "[Trump] was willing to meet with Kim Jong Un. He was willing to meet with Putin and Xi Jinping, and he avoided criticizing them personally. He didn't call them dictators. He talked about how smart they are. It's the art of the deal. Right. I mean, at the end of the day, he's looking to do business, and we need a little bit more of that. And I think this is why Jared Kushner was successful. He went in there with the mindset of a businessman. How do we find something that's beneficial to both sides?" Chamath: "I think that when Trump was elected, I was told that it was the end of the world, and that's what I thought. And I'd already underwritten him as an F, okay? And then, four years into the presidency, he was probably like a C in my mind. And then, as I get a little bit of distance away, I realized, no, hold on a second. This guy was like a B, B-plus. Like, he was pretty good. "But the further and further I get away from him and the less emotional I am, he did a pretty good job. He was a pretty good president." Pope Francis’s mortal remains have now been entombed at his chosen resting place, the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore in Rome. During a Vatican audience last year, H.E President Samia Suluhu brought along a young girl from the Archdiocese of Dar es Salaam - a child of deep faith. The Holy Father was moved. He gently caressed her head, bestowed his blessing, and asked her to pray for him. Now that he has transitioned to eternal life, I am confident that the young girl has not forgotten his request. Today, and in all the days to come, we join her and Catholics around the world in prayer, echoing the words of the Collect from the Requiem Mass: “O God, immortal shepherd of souls, look on your people’s prayers, and grant that your servant Pope Francis, who presided over your Church in charity, may, with the flock entrusted to his care, receive from your mercy the reward of a faithful steward.” The gathering of people from all faiths and nations to bid him farewell, and the unity of even former adversaries in prayer, speak volumes about his goodness and the potential of the Papacy to foster unity, peace, and a better world. May the College of Cardinals, in their forthcoming conclave, remember this profound impact. Our departure from this temporary place is inevitable. To depart while enabling the timely and much needed congregation of all humanity at one square, for communion and prayer, at a time where there’s too much shouting and shooting everywhere, may well be Pope Francis’s final act of service.

Can Cardinal Sarah shake the Vatican like Bernadette Did? Say what you will about Field Marshal Alhaji Doctor Idi Amin Dada (and most history books have), but in 1975, the man did something that shocked both the diplomatic corps and the cassocked corridors of the Vatican: he sent a woman. Yes, a woman -27-year-old Bernadette Olowo -to represent Uganda at the Holy See. In doing so, he shattered a 900-year-old tradition of male-only diplomacy to the Vatican. And not with a whisper, but with all the audacity of a man who once gave himself every military title short of Archangel. Rome gasped. The Curia blinked. Cardinals likely clutched their rosaries. But Pope Paul VI -perhaps foreseeing that the Holy Spirit is not a respecter of patriarchies -welcomed her. On January 24, 1975, Bernadette, cloaked in black and gold elegance, stepped into the #Vatican’s ornate halls and into history, becoming the first woman ambassador to the Holy See. The Vatican’s official response? “She will be held to the same rules as men.” Which is ecclesiastical code for: “We weren’t ready, but here we are.” Now, nearly 50 years later, the question is flipped. With the death of #PopeFrancis , eyes are on the conclave. And this time, Africa isn’t sending a woman to shake the Vatican - it’s offering three princes of the Church who might just lead it: Cardinal Peter Turkson (#Ghana), Cardinal Robert Sarah (#Guinea), and Cardinal Fridolin Ambongo (#DRC). Can #CardinalSarah, known for his unshakable orthodoxy and quiet fire, be the Vatican’s next great disruptor -not by breaking windows, but by opening doors long thought sealed? After all, it wasn’t stilettos that made Bernadette formidable -it was her presence, her dignity, her ability to walk into the world’s most patriarchal enclave and act like she belonged. (And yes, sometimes history wears heels. Even if the Devil wears Prada.) Unlike Bernadette, Sarah wouldn't need papal permission to enter the #Vatican -he already lives inside its spiritual engine room. But like her, he would have to embody disruption, grace, and a courage that doesn't simply break rules, but resets expectations. Perhaps having a Pope who understands hunger -not just metaphorically -but in the flesh, who knows what it means to pray in a thatched chapel while dodging real rain, not just metaphorical doubt, is the spiritual reckoning the Church needs. Because Bernadette’s journey showed us that change doesn’t always come dressed in dogma. Sometimes, it arrives in high heels and confidence. Now, it may come in red robes and an African accent. Either way, history is watching. And this time, it just might say “AMEN!” #Conclave2025 #PopeFrancis

As always, while watching some scenes from the episode, I get this déjà vu. And this time it happened during the hospital scene. I’m honestly 100% sure that the earlier almost miscarriage situation was intentional. It felt like they wanted to show us Serhat’s reaction when his child and the woman carrying his child were in danger and then later contrast it with his reaction when the woman he truly loves, the other half of his soul, is the one fighting for her life. I will never stop appreciating Ilhan’s acting. From episode one people doubted him, saying he only had one expression. But back then that was Serhat… the controlled doctor, M’s husband, the surgeon who keeps everything inside. Now he’s completely different. The emotional shift is almost 180 degrees from that version of Serhat. From the cave scene to the hospital scene the emotions were already intense, but the hospital was a masterpiece. The way he could barely stay standing, the way he allowed himself to cry openly even though his guards were around him! he didn’t care. Because the woman he loves had just been lifeless in his arms. And look at the details: he went down on his knees twice in this episode for her. A man as powerful and towering as a mountain fell to his knees because he felt utterly helpless! First in the cave, when he realized he was helpless! she was fainting, the venom in her blood was faster than anything he could do, and his strength meant nothing in that moment. Then again in the hospital, when he finally reached his limit and simply couldn’t stay standing anymore😭 And this is the same man who showed almost no emotion when his father died. The same man who barely reacted when his mother had a heart attack. The same man who stayed composed when his legal wife nearly miscarried. The contrast is INSANE. thank you, #ilhanşen 🥹 Thanks to everyone who wrote Serhat’s character this way, and thanks to Ilhan for delivering it so powerfully. And thanks for all the tiny micro-details that people like me (the ones obsessed with details) will always notice.😭🤏🏻 #HalefKöklerinÇağrısı

Judge Joe Brown Exposes Barack Obama. Obama’s Name Is Fake, His Birth Certificate Is Fake & He Is One Of The Richest Men Alive With An Off-Shore Trust Fund In Indonesia. Americans Have Been Lied To 🚨 “Mean, why you attacking somebody black? I said black people didn't put this up. They didn't have anything to do with this. I heard them planning it. Well, I, the Obama administration did well that said Obama. What did he do for the black race? Nothing. Question. You might ask who's the richest man to ever be? You as president? Uh, um, it's not Trump. No, it's Barack Obama. You know how his adopted Father Lolo? So Toro was one of the 10, 15 richest men on Earth. And when he died, he left a trust fund in Indonesia with three equal beneficiaries. Barack Obama, then known as Barry, so Toro, 'cause he was adopted and his two siblings. So he has a whole false claim about what his background is. But when he got in the White House, he'd been working for a law firm that represented his daddy. He got lauded by Goldman Sachs, who financed most of his daddy's, uh, American investments. He protected British petroleum when they had to blow out in the Gulf, because guess what? His trust fund had heavy investments in bp. So we get through this whole mantra and even, uh, affordable care. Obamacare, you know who drafted it? Senior Tennessee Republican Senator or Dr. Bill Fris when he was Republican Senate Majority Leader. Why? His family founded Blue Cross Blue Shield and most of the HMOs, his family's making a killing. So he retired from the Senate in 2010 when the Obama administration got passed his drafted act from 2003, his game. And I don't have any problem with Trump either. I'm looking at Lois Black unemployment rates since Lyndon Beans Johnson. More money to historically black colleges and universities at any time since Lyndon Bain Johnson. I mean more Americans back to work. You know, like, what did you get for the last three oh oh, and then this, you know, that joke that they do about George W. Bush, uh, feeding, uh, Michelle Candy. The inside thing on that is, it's the same candy he fed her husband when he was six, seven years old. See, the So Toros in the bushes go back 40 some years.”

An Air Force whistleblower alleged the US military found a 1,100-pound giant in Afghanistan. This may be one of the most highly classified secrets—ever. In 2005, a military unit vanished. Without a trace. A second unit went searching for them. What they saw will shock you: “They were all dead.” “And this gigantic humanoid was eating one of them … ” This is the story of the Kandahar Giant: Timothy Alberino: “I used to work with Steve Quayle.” “His primary area of research was biblical giants.” “Steve was contacted by an elderly woman who told him that her son had a story that he needed to hear.” “We flew him out to Bozeman, Montana and we interviewed him.” “He showed us his CV, his credentials.” “He was active duty.” “He was C-130 cargo pilot.” “He would fly missions into Bagram Airfield in Afghanistan.” “He would describe these missions as classified, and he would often be called in to pick up high-value assets.” “One day, he’s flying in there, he said in 2005 … he deplanes with his crew and they’re met on the tarmac by individuals he described as the babysitters.” “He thinks that these are Air Force intelligence or Army intelligence.” “And they said: this never happened, no pictures, don’t ever talk about it.” “He sees a forklift bringing over a huge crate, an air cargo pallet.” “And there’s something on it.” “He said the first thing that hit him was the odor.” “It was this pungent odor of like BO and death.” “As they put this thing down … he realized that the tarp wasn’t covering the whole thing.” “You could see part of its head, you could see its hands and its feet hanging off the pallet.” “He said that the hair of this being was red.” “The skin was pale white.” “He said it had six fingers on each hand and six toes on each foot.” “He said he and the guys that were standing around the body were taking their boots and putting it up to the foot, and he said it was 2-3 times bigger than everybody’s boot.” “And he said this thing was solid as a rock.” Jesse Michels: “How tall?” Alberino: “The pallet was 9 feet, and he’s in the fetal position, so they estimated … 10-12 feet tall.” “They weighed this being.” “1,100 pounds.” “He was asking … where’d you guys get this thing?” “They told him that they had heard … a group of guys got lost … doing recon or something.” “They weren’t reporting back in.” “So they sent out another team to look for that first team.” “When that second team found them … they were all dead.” “And this gigantic humanoid was eating one of them.” “[The second team] was able to kill it.” “Maybe that was just a rumor.” “Either way, the giant was airlifted from the Kandahar region and deposited at Bagram.” “He loaded the giant onto the aircraft, and then they transferred it to a base in Qatar.” “And that’s where his interaction with this being ends.” “He told me he heard through the grapevine, I don’t know if this is true … that the giant ended up at Wright-Patterson.” Timothy Alberino Jesse Michels American Alchemy

UPDATE FROM COBB COUNTY, GA!!! 🎉 IT’S ZEUS’ FREEDOM RIDE 🎉 Zeus was a 10 year old senior dog whose story really broke our hearts. 💔 Apparently, his family moved out of their home and left him behind completely alone. He was found two weeks later and brought to the shelter. When Zeus first arrived, you could tell he was heartbroken. He barely wagged his tail, didn’t want to get out of bed, and just seemed so defeated by the world around him. Even when he started coming out with us volunteers, he stayed very quiet and withdrawn… 🥺 Then one incredibly sweet couple drove all the way from Chattanooga just to meet him… and the second they saw Zeus, they knew he was meant to be theirs. 🧡 When we brought Zeus into the office to get him dressed up for his big day, something about him already felt different. It was almost like he knew his life was about to change. The moment he saw his new parents sitting in the lobby, he immediately went right up to them like he had been waiting for them his entire life. 🥹 When they opened the car door, Zeus tried SO hard to climb in as fast as he could. We were all laughing through tears because although he’s an older senior boy, he was determined to make sure he wasn’t getting left behind again. And the second he got into that car, everything changed. That sad, quiet, heartbroken dog slowly disappeared right before our eyes. Zeus started smiling, rolling onto his back, asking for love, and soaking up every second of freedom. I truly believe he knew exactly what was happening 😭❤️ His new mom sat in the backseat beside him the whole drive home. She kissed him on the head, and Zeus looked back at all of us one last time… almost like he was saying thank you, and then laid down right next to Mom … His new family decided to rename him Worthy because they said he is worthy of love, and I truly do not think there could have been a more perfect name for him. It was such an honor to be part of your journey, Zeus. 💙 Thank you to this amazing couple for giving him the beautiful life he always deserved. Freedom looks so good on you, Worthy!! 😭🎉❤️

full story of jihoon’s pov of jeongwoo falling at the airport. guys its very long but jihoon was so detailed its so funny 😭 he could not stop laughing while telling the story 🐶 we were getting out of the van at the airport. it was me, Junghwan, Jeongwoo and maybe Ruto was there too? there were four of us in the van. Jeongwoo and I were talking while getting out. 🐶 but actually this story is only funny if you can see it with actions. it doesn’t hit the same when I just say it. next time i’ll do a live with my face camera on and i’ll act it out for you. the physical comedy is what makes it so funny 🐶 so I got out first -> Jeongwoo -> Junghwan. as I was stepping out, I turned around and was saying something “jeongwoo dhsbsjwbsjs”. 🐶 jeongwoo was still talking to me while getting off the van. the van was pretty high and had steps. as he was coming down, the sheet slipped and he almost fell backwards. he managed to save himself tho. how should I illustrate this… 🐶 ok this might not be the best example, but imagine you’re walking along the Han River and someone is riding a bike toward you from the opposite direction. then suddenly that person falls off their bike. 🐶 at first you’re like “oh? are they okay?” thats the first thing that comes to mind. but later once you know they’re okay and you think back on it.. when someone suddenly faces danger, you know the instinctive expression and body language they make while trying to escape that situation? 🐶 like that desperate look and movement right before they’re about to fall. you all know what I mean right? 🐶 thats exactly what Park Jeongwoo did 🐶 Jeongwoo’s tall. he’s around 180 cm tall. and while he was talking to me, he suddenly went “OHOHHHH 😮” while flailing around for about two seconds 🐶 it was just his body’s instinctive reaction to avoid getting hurt. I saw all of that. 🐶 at first I was startled too because it would’ve been bad if he’d actually fallen backwards. 🐶 but Jeongwoo’s flailing was just really funny. he seriously flailed. so I was about to go “OH! jeongwoo-ya” but then he suddenly let out this huge sigh, and started acting as if nothing had happened. pretending to be completely natural and completely fine 🐶 the mat had slipped outside the van, so he suddenly dusted it off, neatly put it back where it belonged, and behind him Junghwan was just watching with this expression like “what is he doing?” 🐶 then all of a sudden, in the calmest voice, he said to Junghwan 🐺 junghwan-ah, be careful 🐶 he suddenly became Doyoung. I seriously thought his soul had switched with Doyoung’s 🐶 one second he was chatting with me about random things, then he almost fell, got the scare of his life, and after that sudden danger passed, he became unbelievably calm. too calm 🐶 he quietly cleaned everything up by himself, then went “Junghwan-ah, be careful~~” and acted as though nothing had happened. 🐶 then he turned back to me and continued naturally 🐺 ah hyung what were you saying? 🐶 he was trying so hard to act natural. seeing all that, I seriously couldn’t stop laughing. its so funny. I went, “Jeongwoo-ya…” and immediately started teasing him 🐶 the moment he realized i noticed, he got embarrassed. I think he wanted everyone to just let it slide and pretend it never happened, but because I pointed it out, he got embarrassed and started laughing too 🐶 evee since then, it’s become a meme between the two of us. even when we’re just walking somewhere completely flat grounds with no obstructions, one of us will suddenly go “WHOOAAAA. jeongwoo-ya, be careful~~~” 🐶 thats just become our inside joke. while walking he’ll randomly go 🐺 WHOOAAAA 🐶 what?? 🐺 hyung, be careful~~~ 🐶 thats become our meme. seriously though it’s one of those stories that’s only really funny if you can see the reenactment.

Barack Obama on how he handles the stress of the presidency: In his seventh year in office, Obama is asked what he's learned about pacing himself and managing the stress of the job. He credits his temperament first: "I'm lucky to by inclination and temperament be fairly steady." Then his Hawaiian roots. "Good weather... So I don't get too high, don't get too low." But beyond temperament, Obama points to three deliberate habits: Consistent morning exercise, time with family, and most importantly, taking the long view. On family, he says: "When you have dinner with your daughters, particularly teenage daughters, they'll keep you in your place and they'll teach you something about perspective." On the modern news cycle, Obama observes: "We live in such a 24/7 Twitter-fed constant news cycle and everything's a crisis... Everything is doomsday. Everything is, if it doesn't get solved tomorrow, your presidency is going off the rails." He recalls how often that narrative has played out: "There must have been 15, 20 things that over the last 7 years folks have said, 'This is it. It's over.'" Two examples he points to: The Gulf oil spill. "Worst environmental disaster in history. Everybody said, 'He's handling this terribly.' A year later, nobody was talking about it. And in retrospect, it turns out that we handled that as well as any environmental crisis has been handled." Ebola. "That was probably one of the most effective international public health responses in history, and that was led by us. If we hadn't acted, it would still be raging and everybody else would be at risk." These experiences shaped his approach: "My job is to keep my eye on the ball and to stay focused on what can we get done every single day to advance the vision and the values that brought me here... As long as I stay focused on those north stars, then I tend not to get too rattled."

(1)🚨BREAKING: After a seven-year, high-profile legal battle on multiple fronts, Rev. Dr Bernard Randall, supported by the Christian Legal Centre, has secured a legal settlement with Trent College and succeeded in overturning the Church of England’s (CofE) safeguarding blacklisting of him for preaching a sermon on freedom of belief and gender identity. Dr Randall, a former Cambridge University college chaplain, is now free to preach in church again and work in an education setting for the first time in seven years after he and his legal team successfully challenged the ban imposed on him. Had he preached in a CofE place of worship during the past seven years, he could have faced disciplinary action. The sanction followed a sermon he delivered as chaplain of the Derbyshire college in July 2019 in a CofE school, in a CofE chapel, precisely the kind of setting where pupils might reasonably expect to hear orthodox Christian teaching. The sermon encouraged debate and was pastoral and rooted in Anglican belief. It came after the school had invited in the external campaign group Educate and Celebrate, which openly stated its aim to “smash heteronormativity” and to embed Queer Theory throughout the culture of the school. Yet for delivering that sermon, Dr Randall, was treated like a criminal: forced out of the college, reported to Prevent without his knowledge, and blacklisted by the Diocese of Derby as a safeguarding risk. Meanwhile, in the years since, Educate and Celebrate has been quietly closed down by the Charity Commission following a series of scandals, including one of its patrons committing multiple sex offences against children. Here is what the losers in the Republican Party have been doing since the 1980s: A Democratic federal judge made it illegal for Republicans to serve as poll watchers starting in the 1980s—until he dropped dead, thankfully. Since then, Democrats have been renewing treason every five years. Even though it officially ended in 2020, Republican poll watchers were still harassed, abused, obstructed, and virtually thrown out of most polling locations, leading to Democrats toppling the U.S. government through every possible form of election fraud on November 3, 2020. “Something else people don’t know is that starting in the mid-1980s, there was a federal district court judge in New Jersey who entered a consent decree preventing Republicans from being poll watchers. So from the mid-80s until 2020, Republicans were not allowed to serve as poll watchers in national elections. And what happened was that judge eventually died, and the Democrats—the DNC—had to go get that injunction renewed every 5–8 years, or something along those lines. When that judge died, he was replaced by an Obama appointee. They went back to that judge and said, ‘We want this consent decree in place, making it so Republicans cannot be poll watchers and cannot participate in this process.’ And he said, ‘What in the heck are you talking about? This is absolutely unconstitutional.’ He refused to renew the consent decree. He refused to renew the injunction. So 2020 was one of the first years that we had professional Republican poll watchers in these elections to see what was going on in Atlanta, Detroit, Milwaukee, and Philadelphia. It was the first time we were really able to see what was happening in these polling places. What that tells me is that probably a lot of these shenanigans had been going on for a long, long time, but there were no Republicans there to report on it.” In other words: Democrats have been stealing elections since the 1980’s and the losers in the Republican Party just sat and watched. "No less than an arms dealer for the [Jewish] community" according to the prosecution. Here's the case of Shay Lichtenstein arrested for attempting to bribe NYPD officers to get up to 150 gun licences for fellow Jewish supremacists. He bragged he had already secured many more. He was part of Shomrim, the Jewish police "service", which is active in New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Florida, Illinois and California in the US and also in the UK, Belgium, Canada and Australia. As you can see from this case they want and are trying to become an armed Jewish militia. Summary follows: Shaya "Alex" Lichtenstein, 44, was so cozy with cops in the License Division he'd spend nearly every day inside the office in police headquarters since 2014, according to the federal criminal complaint. “He was no less than an arms dealer for the community," said federal prosecutor Kan Nawaday. ... Lichtenstein, who has his own gun permit, is a member of the Borough Park Shomrim, the Jewish volunteer patrol. He was arrested Sunday in his Pomona, N.Y. home. He would charge members of the Orthodox community between $5,000 and $25,000 to expedite their gun permit requests, according to community sources. The investigation began in April 2016 after he approached an unnamed officer in the unit and tried to bribe him, court records show. The process typically takes at least a year and candidates with low level criminal offenses are almost always nixed. The officer who Lichtenstein tried to bribe turned to the NYPD's Internal Affairs Bureau. That unit then launched an undercover sting with the feds. They arranged a meeting in Borough Park where Lichtenstein allegedly patted down the officers, according to video from the gathering. After one officer complained, Lichtenstein said he'd rather meet the man "in your underpants and your undershirt." The undercover then said he was nervous about getting involved in the scheme. In response, Lichtenstein pulled out a calculator and estimated the officer could earn $900,000 if he helped with an estimated 150 permits. "I got so many licenses last year," Lichtenstein allegedly bragged. He claimed all of his customers were eligible applicants and that he was merely asking the officers to speed up the process, the complaint shows. But a review of his cases showed one applicant who was approved for gun permit in 2013 had a long criminal history, prosecutors said. The unnamed full carry license holder had been arrested for forgery and was the subject of at least four domestic violence complaints, "including one in which he was accused of threating to kill someone," the complaint said. The person also had 10 moving violations and three vehicle-related summonses. Naturally the judge was lenient. There's a lip of the local news at the time below. Link to my article on Shomrim and other Jewish militias is bin the replies.
