It's not completely correct, in the presence of QRS complexes even in CPR(like Unstable VT) it's better to use synchronized Fibrillation in order to avoid R on T phenomenon which detoriates patients condition and if the defibrillator doesnt detect R waves ( VF or VT with PR>200)
